Going to be away for a while, or just want to introduce yourself, post it here.

Hi everyone. I've played a couple in person campaigns, but this is one of my first PbP campaigns, so let me know if there is something I mess up, lol.

No worries, we all started out as newbies at some point. If you have any questions about, well, anything, feel free to post and ask.

somewhere floating around is an "into to pbp" page somewhere :D gives some nice "guidelines" if i find it i'll link it here. But feel free to ask and you shall receive. Everyone does everything a bit differently.

I’m in the EST time zone in the US (GMT-5). I’ll usually be more active in the evenings but am on vacation the next two weeks, so I’ll be active most of the day as well. Once works starts up though I’ll be back to mostly posting after 4 or 5PM my time.

I know weekends on here are historically slow and don’t expect this game to be any different - if there’s activity I’ll post, if not, we’ll let it ride until Monday.

I'm typically on 12-5 PST while at work. Its pretty slow rn so i'm in chilling in the f5 lounge.
This and next week are 3 day weeks so i'll try to slap the webpage while out of the office to see if anything is abuzz.

Hey guys.
I got into D&D at the beginning of this year, unfortunately lockdown meant my first taste of action was cancelled but luckily I found GP. Since then I have played 5 games and started to DM one myself. I'm UK based and mainly active in evenings but have more time over weekends so will keep up to speed.

I am from the Central US time zone and will probably make most of my posts after my kids are in bed (8pm Central). I might make posts some other time as I have time. Because I've got young kids, my IRL groups have been slow, so I heard about PbP on the DM's Block podcast and thought I'd give it a try.

I'm in Hawaii so GMT -10, ill try and post as often as I can.

Oh man I forgot about this thread! You all can call me Sphere, I've played in a few PbP games, but none super long-term (aside from a game I've been in since February, which is nice). I play a lot of 5e in person, and I keep some Call of Cthulhu.

Time-wise, I'm a student at GMT -6. I'm applying for colleges right around this time, so if I'm a little inactive you know why, but I should be able to keep up with 1 post/day.

Since it was asked - feel free to make any rolls you wish to during your posts. I may or may not use them depending on the situation.

I may also make rolls for your characters to save time, the most common occurrence will be when Initiative is being called for so we don’t have to wait on everyone to waste a post just to make an Initiative roll.

Seeing that it's Christmas tomorrow, I don't expect much action with the game until Monday.

Just curious how you handle crit damage? I know there are a lot of variations people use.

If you score a critical hit you can go back and edit your post and add another damage die roll or I can do it when determining the outcome of the hit. Poor Goblin C was killed outright without the need for an extra damage roll for the CH.

I figured that's what it was in this case, so I didn't worry about it, but figured I'd ask.

I'm back to work (from home) on Monday, so I may not be able to respond as quickly during the day (although I will try to sneak a post in if needed). Now that the holidays are over let's all try to get back into the swing of things on Monday and get a decent pace going.
