Episode 1 Scene 2 : It's New Day

Nothing happens prior to the rain arriving, and after a few hours of a heavy downpour that would have gotten everyone soaked to the skin it abates. Leaving the temperature several degrees below where it had been along with a fairly stiff wind. Getting caught out in that would not have been a pleasant experience for sure. The couple brings out some bread and a couple of bowls of stew for the two that did not join the group within the house.

"I believe there are a few goblins in town, but for the most part none that have presented themselves in an antagonistic manner until now."

Ashton does notice damage caused by the storm as well as erosion and standing puddles of water. He also notices that none of their passage just hours ago is evident anywhere as it has all been washed away. After providing the food to the others, the farmer begins working to fix the damage and erosion. Further he explains that this kind of damage is fairly typical after one of these big storms that passes through here periodically. He conjectures that the various farms would ceases to be evident if not constantly tended to and that the more fragile crops farmed elsewhere cannot be grown here as they would not survive these rain storms. In fact his herb garden, which he seems to be proud of, has to be grown under a shielding canopy or they would be destroyed. Of course sometimes some of his herbs do get damaged but he usually is able to restore most of them but loses do happen.

With what he can see, and what he is told it is evident to him that unless a raiding party were to have decimated a farm or most of it that much of the damage would have been overlooked. The obvious take away being, who reported the damage as thus far none of the farmers they have talked to indicated they noticed any damage out of the ordinary. Well at least until, they had brought it up.

The farmer is able to actually utilize Cef's unique talents and thanks the group for their help. Although, of the group Cef had actually been the only one to provide much help as the farmer's means to fix things is mostly via living organic regeneration to which he uses druidic magic to facilitate.

Within an hour or so the group comes upon the next farm a Gnome with a mass of red hair streaked with yellow highlights calls out, "Watt cunna doe fer ya?"

I agree with Valziver and vote we move on quickly. A brief contact with each is not a bad idea to spread the word and gather information. And any alternative to rating is welcome. casting an agreeing glance at Al As Cef alllws me to range further I can scout and direct your to local homesteads, Cef and I are not the best at new aquaintense and chit chat.

The odd looking Gnome replies half-heartedly to the gesture the blue he musters is as weak or weaker than the one Ashton displays. "Well if you not be looking for damage caused by the storm, than who would be causing this damage and what kind of damage might they be causing?"
