You all help to get the wounded out of the temple. While helping to liftDotty peeks through the doorways on the other side of the big room. They seem to lead to further rooms with devices that look primitive and sophisticated at the same time. E.g. an orrery made out of ccrude gems and a bronze-like metal.
Dotty would maybe take one of them but the others are alway nearby. Jerry contacted Dr. Salmberg who came with a medical team to treat to unconscious people.
When you all return to the main camp a big party is thrown in your honor. The medical team managed to save all of the people who were trapped in the mysterious force field and while they are still unconscious thei condition is at least stable.
Dr. Salmberg fills out your mission report and especially mentions your bravery and ingenuity in solving this tricky situation.
Dani, the mechanic who stayed back at the ship, is able to repair your ship with spare parts from the wreckage of the pirate's vessel.
Fortunatly you don't have to transport the prisoners. She will keep them in the camp and call for a military vessel to protect the camp as those pirates clearly were clearly well organized and not just a bunch of random thugs. The vessel will hopefully arrive soon and until then Dr. Salmberg will keep the defense gun ready at all times.
As you all say your farewell three of the people who came with you onboard the ship (Dani the mechanic, Raven the translator and the robot) declare their intention to stay at the camp. Jeff, Scott and ChiHiRu in turn will accompany you on your future voyages.
You manage to get into orbit without troubles and deploy the replacement communications satellite. You jump into hyperspace and speed back towards West V, the space station where Eddie,your contact person to the sector government, will be eager to hear the good news.
He even contacts you halfway to the station. In the video transmission you can see him, sitting in the Spacefarer's bar in a crinkly suit. Hi gives you a wide and sly smile
