OOC:

After Kon's, and assuming things have not changed drastically, this is my action...

Pulling a sack out of my pack, I toss it against the top of the ladder. I bark out "Don't make direct contact with the creature, anything that touches it while it's mimicking an object will get stuck!", then use the back edge of my swords to bludgeon the mimic through the cloth.

OOC:

Damage, if any, to be reduced per DMs discression for using the non-sharp side of the blades.

OOC:

DM's note: I, Lyric, being a big meanie DM, can confirm that Storm at first level had experience with such a creature and has the knowledge necessary to make such a statement without reference to outside sources, lol.

I try to break free of the mimic. if successful, I back away, drawing my axe and attack the vipers if thats not too much in one turn.

Following the advice of Storm, who seems to know too well that the thing will grab weapons. In a rapid fire motion, I fire two arrows into the upper part of the later near were Storm’s sack is draped.

As Kon breaks away from the ladder, it transforms into its original form up on the top ledge where the ladder was leaning in front of the corridor away from the pit. Everyone attacks it and the vipers and the girls lay an escape route for Kon next turn while pushing the vipers away from Kon.

Seeing the mimic in it's natural form, I step off the tide of fey sugar gliders onto the ledge for some more solid footing, twist my blades around to attack with the sharp edges...
