D&D 5e Adventurers needed to save Nighland!

We have a fantasy world set in a land set in the style of medieval England with the traditional D&D twist. Wizards and Warlocks, Kings and Queens, Knights and Knaves, Rogues and Rascals, Orcs and Ogres, Dungeons and Dragons!

We have an 8th level Wizard, because no one likes those low-level adventures, and need a strong fighter/ranger or 2, a Rogue and maybe a cleric. Other classes welcome if you have a good character built up and are seeking a new adventure. Or we can quickly build one up through a subforum chat and throw them in the mix!

Oh my! This adventure looks AH-MAZING! I only am two post into my game that is teaching me the ropes so I probably shouldn't ... And to make it worse someone quoted Tombstone!?! 😭

Sadly one of our best players, a Fighter/Wizard has gone dark, and left us with need for a new player. A fighter type character would be awesome, but it's not a requirement. We do have a Wizard, Ranger, Bard, and a Cleric. I am not against someone playing a class we already have, but having someone play one we don't would be great.

You'd start at 8th level.

We play 5e rules, and love people who can focus on the story and moving the plot along moreso than being stuck to the mechanics of the game.
We've had 746 game posts, so it wouldn't take long to catch up.

Has his own Ideas of what is right for a dwarf which often causes problems the only reason people listen to him is because of his might he can be calm but once angered stays so for a long time

I love the idea of a strong dwarven fighter, but I don't think our party would accept a bezerker for long.

Something that Better fits into high society?...

polite dwarven bartender who likes to convert people while there drunk. he has sworn of the drink, and is good at getting people out of his bar, we can figure out exactly what happened to his bar or if he still has it.
