Hello,
I got the Cortex Prime book not too long ago and am interested in putting it through it's paces. I've got a bunch of ideas for games to run in the system, but I want to crawl before I run. I'm currently running a low level supers game on here, but I also wanted to run a fantasy game and see how different it feels using the different modes of the game. The game would be a one shot and probably just some sort of hex/dungeon crawl. We'd build our own classes.
For those that don't know Cortex Prime is narrative dice pool system where every character has number of Traits that can be called on to add dice to the pool to roll. However, every die that goes into the pool has to be narratively justified in order to use it (kind of like Wushu or Feng Shui, I can't remember which one) so there is baked in role play with your rolls.
I'm looking for 2-5 players who can post 2-3 times a week and are willing to learn the system or know it already. I'm still working the kinks out of my understanding of the system, so you'd have to be patient with me, but I think I know enough know to efficiently guide us without getting lost in all of the noise.
If you're interested, in learning a new system or a fantasy one shot, go ahead and respond in here or send me a PM. Or if you have any questions, reach out.
Thanks
