As a new year starts for the city the Abby itself seems to be oddly overrun with ants. As you arrive to Elysium Torston is seen standing on a rather ornate stool while continuing his duties as Keeper.

The cobbled streets of Amsterdam lie silent as the clouds drift lazily over the moon and stars. While much of the city lies sleeping before dawn eventually breaks the morning chill with its warmth, a few figures move about in the shadows and moonlight. One figure notably strides with purpose along the streets, their gait measured but steady. In the middle of the street they halt, their thick cloak obscuring a burly form beneath. For a long, still moment they make neither sound nor movement, simply waiting for some unannounced time yet to come.

The time comes a score of breaths later, when the clouds part enough for the pale moon to illuminate the city streets clearly. The figure then moves one gauntleted hand to fix a piece of parchment to the head of a long, slender javelin. Once affixed, with a motion born of innumerable hours of practice, the projectile and message alike are launched forth, the weapon embedding itself deeply into the outer doors of Aconitum Abbey.

As the figure turns and strides away from the scene, the parchment settles beneath the embedded shaft, revealing the writing on its surface.

"I will either find a way, or make one."

Horse Steps approach outside as four large war horses pull up to Elysium, upon their shoulders sit Enki and Hildr along with two ghouls dressed in full armor brandishing silvered spears. Enki and Hildr dismount and start approaching the doors of Elysium.

Hildr speaks first "The initial findings are worrisome, with a cure out of reach we are limited to more drastic measures of treatment."

Enki scratches his brow " I am aware, it is not ideal but may be the only recourse we have besides attempting diplomacy. I think the court would be unhappy about such an option give what they asked for last time."

Hildr "We cannot spend eternity watching over our shoulders and jumping at shadows as you said."

Enki smiles "Clever using my own words against me, we shall see what others wish to do on the matter. Cybele and the Vulgar one will handle security until an action is decided."

Enki and Hildr head for the door

Izra'll seems to step out of the shadows surrounded the Abbey, "Huh, a new threat?" He asks more to himself then Enki and Hildr, taking a look at the note and it's elaborate delivery. "Or more friends of yours that I have yet to meet?"

Finn enters with Sophie behind her,

"My dear friends, I have decided to organize a trek into the tunnels in order to gather more information and to see what it is we are up against. If you are interested in such, please come see us at the Garrison. We leave in 2 nights time.

If you would rather use your resources to stay in the city and protect our Prince, please see Sophie as she will be heading the Shield."

Finn watches an ant crawl across the table before her, she tilts her head and looks at Torston, "Do we have a problem here Sir?"
Apr 2, 2021 12:54 pm
Enki orders his guards to stay outside as himself and Hildr enter the Elysium, they take a seat.

"I assume Cybele has already filled you in Warden." Enki says turning to Finn "Our options are limited as a cure seems unobtainable they may have to be put down...or reasoned with."

Duccio makes his way into the Abby giving the javelin stuck in the door a sidelong look before entering and stopping tiling his head quizzically at Torston's perch and the noticeable ant problem. Duccio then casts his gaze of to Enki as the former stops speaking, "Well it is always difficult to deal and cure an ailment of the soul. It seems this is a type of Demonic possession and we have yet to see the true form of the Fomori, or at least that was the limited information I was able to gleam from my captive.

On a good note those were all of the Mongrels that we dealt with and the remaining of the more mortal Kine with them are of little to no threat to us, the bad side to that one is in our caution and zealousness the ones with a better knowledge of the Fomori are no more. Although the dangers in trying to take one of the Lupine alive to question would have outweigh the benefits."

Auzilie enters the Abbey followed by maid carrying what appears to be a heavy basket of shoes. Auzilie is barefoot as she confidently walks to her throne and takes a seat. Her maid stands beside her. The Prince knocks the basket out of the maids hands and the contents spill forth onto the floor before her,

"Why, pray tell, do I only have one half of all of my shoes?" As she speaks a line of ants crosses the floor before her, she suddenly becomes aware of Torston's precarious perch atop his stool. The panic flickers, although she hides it well, "WHAT IN THE BLOODY HELL IS GOING ON HERE!?"

Torston Huffs "I know not your majesty but I have ordered the help to try every method under the moon to rid us of these vermin and yet still they remain and return!" Torston still standing upon the rather ornate stool composes himself for a brief moment "I will give a minor boon to whoever can find the source or better yet rid us of these vile creatures."

*Henry quietly enters. Seeing the ants he pauses for a moment, but then coninues on his way.*

"My Prince, perhaps it may be worth speaking with Giovanni. The one who was shrieking and spitting the year prior and has since vanished? If I recall correctly the Nosferatu have a kinship with insects and other vermin and if we can have them form a coherent sentence they may be of assistance.

May we speak once you have a moment?"

Ludovico enter the Abbey. Ants no longer seem to be streaming in.

"Ah, Torston. Please, come down from that stool. The ants should not be a problem anymore - there was a rather large colony not far from the Abbey which I have since eradicated."
Apr 7, 2021 11:28 am
"Thank you Ludo. It is greatly appreciated. Now if someone can explain to me why I am missing every single left shoe?"

Her maid brings over a wine decanter and whispers something in her ear. Fury crosses her already exasperated stare,

"AND, WHY is all my wine GREEN!?"

She empties the contents of the decanter onto the floor and storms out of the room.

As the door slams Torston seems to shudder breifly before regain his composure. "Ah yes Ludovico I thank you greatly. May the Harpies know I hereby owe Ludovico of Clan Cappadocian a minor boon." Torston sighs "Now if only we can find out what the cause of all these...incidents seem to be, I am sure the Prince and many of us court members would be pleased if they were to cease."

*Henry nods toward Torston*

"It shall be known. I do hope the Prince will see me, I may have some insight into what is happening and will need to enlist Isaacs assistance if she permits it."

"I would also seek an audience with the Prince once she has seen Henry. It is...rather important."

As the night sky slowly but inexorably begins to give way before the earliest hints of dawn, the armoured figure of The Lion slowly but steadily tromps into the main hall of the Abbey. His armour is scratched and covered in blood and viscera, and the clean white plumes of his helmet's crest have been stained crimson, as has much of the rest of him.

Over his shoulder is the broken and pierced form of a massive figure, easily 8 freet tall when standing upright, with a strange, thick outer carapace and knotted muscles underneath. Stopping in the hall, Aserymus heaves the figure over his shoulder and unceremoniously drops it onto the floor.

"A gift for the Prince. A foe defeated in the tunnels below, and a sign of many more foes yet to be defeated. The Spear will seek them out, and finish the task."

With a quick turn on his heel, the Tunisian then exits the way he came, to rest before the first rays of morning light graced the world with their presence once more.

Footsteps echo as a figure walks towards the main hall. When he enters he takes a moment to look around at the people present. His dark eyes flicker from person to person. When he is done he takes one more step forward. His clothes are obviously suited for hot climates, and the wrap around his head hangs loose over his shoulder, ready to cover his face at need. He clears his throat and speaks clearly, though heavily accented.

"I am here to make my presence known to the city, the scourge, and the Prince. I am also here to find what has happened to Abdul Wassio"

With that he leans his weight back in his heels and watches.

Noone seems to remember when Isaac entered but there he is sitting on a chair in a corner. His forearms and part of his face are covered in smooth burned flesh but other than that he seems fine. He does however wince slightly when he smiles in greeting towards the newcomer as it stretches the burned skin.
"Hello newcomer. My name is Isaac and I am scourge of Amsterdam. I'm very glad you came here. I do regret to inform you that Abdul has passed from this world. He was part of a group of us that were hunting a pack of lupines in our city that had already destroyed one of our number. We were successful in our hunt but in the fight Abdul was killed. I'm sorry I didn't get your name? Were you close with Abdul?"

Aura of Inhumanity, Unholy Presence
Izra'll seemed to just emerge from a shadow, eyeing the new comer.

Izra'll voice was calm and steady, and very non-standoffish. But his arms remained crossed across his chest, eye's fixated on the arrival.

The new comers eyes flick from Isaac to Izra'il, a slight crinkle appearing in his brow for a fleeting second. He shakes his head briefly towards Izra'il, before addressing Isaac.

I am the warrior Assan al'Hassim. Abdul was my sire and I was coming to join him in this city of the west. When I arrived I could not find him. Thank you for explaining his fate to me. I claim what was his by right of the blood he gave me, and stand in his stead. I am Assamite."

He turns to Izra'il
