* The Mining Guild wishes no ill on the refugees. They have the sole legal right to excavate the Dribbage Water Tunnel. And we have the right to safe working conditions to do so.
* First duty is to protect my miners and to hold Lord Renash, son of the very same baron you speak of, to his legally binding contract with my guild. Until such a time as Renash and his lackey, Marseen Olond, wants to ensure that there will be no more accidents, they will continue our work stoppage and use every resource at our disposal to ensure that the tunnel remains closed to further work by us or by anyone else.

Castle Guard
* Stepped up patrols around the dig site to keep anyone else from getting in or out.
* We've asked Dribbage Acquisitions to cease work for the time being
* Olond person in charge is in talks with the captain of the guard to let her take over security as long as she ceases work until the dispute with the miners is settled.

I'm afraid we've had to sedate them. The boy, this Grimbly, is near-homicidal, and this girl, Galbernost, can't seem to stop herself wandering around swiping our supplies." Physically, they are perfectly fine. No marks, bruises, injuries, or the like... other than the normal physical stresses of poverty and lack of food.

No indications of magical affliction, but they are affected by something... Perhaps alchemical?
something is piercing the darkness—not light, but sound. Stones, rubble, gravel falling away. Now a feeling—fingers tingling, hands going numb... Fatigue now, like exerting oneself and tiring out. Hands still numb, muscles aching. Finally faces appear, fleeting glimpses: Melchic, Lyssie, Jacey Tabbins. A voice, not any of these three, says, "Keep at it, kids! We've almost got it out..." Jacey's face again. Horror in her eyes. The sound of running while the first voice calls, "Get back here...!"

just put this here so it's easy to find
OOC:
Yeah, Nekurr's Triumphs were for the vision—they didn't reveal the source of the affliction but some crucial context around what that source is and how it got there. (Remember that Hildar and Tronus don't really know what you saw, as it was in a private note.)
Suddenly, Nekurr's in a field with dark forms flying overhead. One of them swoops down—it's a dragon! It breathes out a cloud of blackish-green mist. The priest dives for cover. Only, now he's falling, falling, falling into a dark place. He hits the ground in a caldera of loose dirt and remnants of bone and wood. Large, round objects as big around as Nekurr is tall surround him, clustered in the nest. Something wails in the distance—it's the same cry as before, but it sounds plaintive. A pair of purple, glowing eyes seem to look directly through Nekurr. The dragon exudes a mist again, covering the whole area. Those eyes close, those unnatural, purple eyes, and the dragon... dies.
