It is an hour before sunrise, the day that the caravan to the South-East is set to depart. Auras' preparations for the trip are done, except for one, which might be the most crucial.
At this hour, nobody is traveling. While these parts are pretty safe, the farmhands won't begin their work until the morning light, the travelers and merchants are still sleeping and the highway patrols don't usually leave the main roads. Everybody who is out at this time of the night has something to hide. And so does Auras. She has managed to get a fire going in a small clearing in the forest near the road to Harpyie's Nest Inn from the West.
After reassuring herself that nobody is nearby and would discover her, she decides it is time...
