Chapter 2 - House Calls

With Gurag providing a solid base, Kip gets to work on the window. With no security measures in place it doesn't take long for the technician to bypass the lock and open the window. Pulling himself up and into the window Kip finds himself inside a sparely furnished bedroom. The tidy room appears to be a child's room...

Keeping watch while the others work on entering the residence, a short Mirialan man catches Guy's eye. The man has walked past several times, as if pacing back in forth in front of the building. He doesn't appear to be paying any attention to the Bothan or his friends.

A quick look of the second level of the flat reveals both a second child's room and a master bedroom. Both of the children's rooms look as though they haven't been occupied in quite some time judging from the amount of dust that's gathered on the furniture in each.

The master bedroom is clearly Mirach's but Kip's search turns up nothing of any real interest.

On the lower level, in the main living area, Kip finds an unlocked terminal. A quick poking around reveals controls for the security system and several diary entries of interest, all of which talk about meetings with Imperials and amounts offered to "provide the Imps with internal FSF communications." The last entry, dated a few weeks ago, is similar to the others, but with an addition:

I've been warned that this was my last chance to cooperate and by refusing to do so they'll have no other choice but to send someone to deal with me directly.

With a quick look over his shoulder the Mirialan starts to make his way to the front entrance of the building.

[DICE ROLL]

The Mirialan listens intently as Guy says his piece, even nodding in agreement once or twice during the one-sided conversation.

"My only real plan is..."

Before Guy can react the man strikes out with a glowing blue fist, but he fails to connect thanks to Bothan's lion-like reflexes.
