Need Help Adding Images to OTFBM Tokens

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone was available to help me figure out how to add custom images (and then use them) for tokens on On The Fly Battle Maps (OTFB)?

The site's description of how to do it is a bit too brief and almost assumes someone will know by just telling them to do 'this' or 'that. I need a more detailed explanation on how to do the above-mentioned 'this' and 'that'; essentially a dumbed down explanation for those of toddler-level intelligence.

I've figured out how to use a background, as well as how to position and color tokens. I would just rather have a PICTURE of Cecil rather than cutting his name down to Ceci in a red circle.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

1. Get your image's full URL.

2. Convert it to base64 - on www.base64url.com, for example. It will be a long string of letters and numbers.

3. Insert the resulting string in this URL: https://token.otfbm.io/meta/insert here.

4. Go to the resulting address (from previous step). You'll get a short code displayed on the page - copy it.

5. Insert the code after the character name in the OTFB URL, like this: https://otfbm.io/d3-GP~4qqb2.

6. Should work now!

First and foremost, thanks for taking the time to try and walk me through this.

Some points to note however- step (2)... I'm already lost. The site (base64url) doesn't say what I'm supposed to place or where I'm supposed to place it. If possible, could you elaborate on this step a little more? "Convert it to base64" is a direction that needs to be subdivided into tiny, microscopic, Lilliputian baby steps.

I think the parts before and the parts after I get... my big obstacle is figuring out the conversion bit.

On the site, there are three fields. The first one on top (it also has a pale "Plain Text" caption by default) is where you place the original URL - simply paste it in. After you do it, two other fields will fill in automatically - they are outputs to copy from. You need one on the bottom, it is for URLs specifically.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh.... see, I didn't bother dropping the image's URL in that field because it said "plain text", so I assumed (entirely my fault) that it was reserved for other purposes; somehow I didn't associate a URL with "plain text".

But is URL plain when it's not a hyperlink? That is the question! :D
Let me know if you'll need help with other steps!
