Shadowrun 5e game starting soon!

so a dragon that personally has you all as it's shadowrunner team? that could get messy. But which dragon?

As much as I want to play Shadowrun (I've had the 5E book forever, but hadn't had anyone to play it with...), I'm going to bow out on this one. I've got too many games as it is right now.

Actually, I just realized only 4 of my games are currently active, all Star Wars lol. Two I'm playing in, two I'm running.

I guess I'm not as familiar with the lore, as far as dragons are concerned. I know they're big players, but perhaps there could be a minor wyrmling as an up-and-comer, looking to establish some territory?

4 is not that much.. and you know you want to play shadowrun...

I'm playing in 4 active games, with another two inactive games I'm still enrolled in and I'm running 6 games. 1 Standard D&D 5e. 1 Modern Magic D&D 5E campaign. 1 Gamma5 D&D 5E game. 1 Mouse Guard Game. 1 Lasers and Feelings Game. Finally, 1 End of the World Game (though that has gone dormant.).

Now I'm joining into this one. I can never have enough. NEVER!

I have to say, one of the beautiful things about Gamersplane is the ability to play lots of game and constantly scratch that RPG itch! I'm still enrolled in three inactive games. Who know if those will rekindle. One of them I was really excited for, and it fizzled out in the first scene. Sad!

I'm going to need to jump on some fantasy RP though. Gone very SF so far.

there are 25 known great dragons. there are younger ones. I am assuming this is the care because 4th edition had rules on making adult dragon PC characters (you stop thinking that right! stop! bad player!)

so it wouldn't be a major dragon you guys would be dealing with, although you may not know that. even a young dragon could make you wish you were never born

You could play a spellslinger and scratch that magical itch!

I'm not big on casters. I just found my 5e PDF (I knew I had it, just saved in a dumb place), things have changed A LOT since first edition! The Gunslinger Adept sounds very cool to me.

I'm thinking of a gunslinger type with no magic at all.

I'm flexible. I'll do a Decker, Gunslinger Adept, the sneaky spy one I forgot the name of (Infiltrator or something). Those are kind of my wheelhouse.

you can play whatever you want. the beauty of shadowrun is that you don't have to tie yourself to one concept. you can be a gunslinger that is also a decker, for example

Yeah, I noticed that! You spend a lot of time building your character before ever choosing the "Career". Pretty cool. I'm excited to try out the new Shadowrun!

honestly, everyone should be good with a gun, that skill should overlap with everyone in the party

Not sure I've ever seen a Shadowrun char who couldn't shoot, even if terribly.
