The room is full so f dozens upon dozens of drawings but one in particular sticks out to you upon a cursory glance.
A man in a green cloak sitting under a tree. Several birds fly around him, one sits upon his shoulder.

Louis is just about to reach for the pistol when Gregory speaks up. Resisting temptation for the time being, he decides to do the smart thing and wait to see how this turns out before doing anything reckless.

"Danzig?" he asks, as the magic is absorbed into Gregory’s body. "Everything alright over there?"

"Hé! Look at this! That's a pretty cute representation, don't you think?" Luc shows the drawing to Archie.

Luc approaches the child. "Is this yours?" He shows the girl all the drawings.

Archie, who had been waiting around in the cleaning room with the kid and Lance, enters the hidden room with Child in tow.
Both look incredibly confused when Faux hands the drawings over.
The girl seems a bit conflicted as to wether or not they’re hers.
Archie seems confused as to why there’s a picture of him in a hidden room.

"Eh. Eh eh." chuckles Gregory for a second "This was a very good grave." rather than the usual nervous smirk, for the first time across his face there's a genuine smile. "I think the person buried in here, he was a... how do you say... kin spirit, yes? Like family you never see. He gave me a very good gift, Mister Chariot. I would say things are all-right, yes!" he looks at his hands, then all of a sudden starts scanning the room for scraps of magic to try and grab. His gaze lingers just a moment on Faux, maybe too long a moment, then goes back to the work benches. You might even see an ever so small skip in his step.

In a corner almost hidden amongst the other tables in the area, is a tiny medicine table. A mortar and pestle lie undisturbed, a green powder, alongside several withered plants in jars, and a plant like bag. Draped on the stool, tucked under the table out of sight, is a green cloak, thrumming slightly with power.

"Things are coming around. It may have begun with cannibals... but now..." eyes gleaming with expectation, Gregory checks out the cloak.

Seeing that Gregory seems… more than fine, Louis shrugs to himself and swipes the ornate pistol off the pedestal to examine it closer.

Danzig: There’s a decent amount of dried blood under the cloak, but for now, unimportant. The cloak isancient. At the very least 500 years old, it’s tattered, threadbare, stained to high heaven, the only thing likely keeping it from becoming dust is the magic holding it together. It powerful, but dwindling a bit from disuse. Likely at one time an artifact of great power, now it’s lost a bit of its shine, but who knows if that can’t be fixed? It smells like a forest, which seems unlikely given how long it’s probably sat there, perhaps probably part of the magic.
Chariot: Upon closer inspection, it seems to be a break action single shot pistol. Chambered to fire .308 rounds, which should make the barrel explode, but apparently someone figured out how to make it work, given the wear and tear on the inside of the barrel. It screams of a personal project that someone spent months if not years on. A bit of maintenance and polish and it should work just fine. It’d be a waste to just let sit here. Right?

Banshee sees the child again, and like Faux, she feels an immediate sense of protection at her. Unlike him, or maybe just like him, who knows, she knows that she has a child of her own out on the world somewhere. She resists thinking of her, afraid that the Voice will use it against her somehow.

Louis turns the pistol over in his hands a few times before making up his mind. It's a beautiful weapon and it would be a shame to leave it behind. Since he doesn’t have a holster for it, he takes a couple of minutes to secure the pistol to the elaborate system of belts and straps and saddlebags that he uses to carry his stuff. Once he is satisfied that the pistol has been safely stowed, he trots over to the other side of the room to see what Gregory has found.

Swept away by curiosity, Gregory almost goes to absorb what magic is left in the green cloak. Then his constanct state of alert, honed in the war, comes back and realizes what's going on around him.
Archie, the robins, the cloak.
"It is another piece of the past, the past of Archie, it seems, yes." he waves the cloak for everyone to see "Very old, and magic, as the cloak worn by a hero of the folk should be. We keep finding pieces of you around here, let us hope we can find your memories, yes? Does this spark a light, Archie?" he asks.
Sep 17, 2021 5:32 pm
The look on Archie’s face is not one of recognition, but rather of confusion and slight horror as his eyes go from the cloak in Danzig’s hands and the cloak he’s wearing currently. The same cloak.
"That… shouldn’t be possible. There shouldn’t be two, it’s one of a kind, but it’s real."
His hands go to the sides of his head. "It can’t be the real one either, that one went up in flames with me."
Sep 17, 2021 5:39 pm
The child, seeing Archie’s distress, gives his cloak a tug. It goes unnoticed by the man, causing a small frown to cross her face, a glimmer of concern bubbling to the surface before disappearing back to the emotional void.
Lance’s brows are furrowed in thought, like he’s trying to put something together but just can’t seem to.

"Is this pendant yours too?" Luc shows Archie the bird pendant.

Tenrec says:
Inquisitor: Still a bit dizzy from his head colliding with the floor, he searches the outer ring of the room, through his haze something does catch his interest. Nestled in one of the corners is a weavers rack, a project sits half finished, it’s final form indiscernible, yet lightly humming.
Gharn's head was fuzzy enough to not really notice the ruckus with Danzig first and Archie later.
As he felt a bit better and the world around him didn't spin as it was after he slammed the door, he focused on the weaver's rack that caught his eye. He held his head for a couple seconds and went to have a closer look at it.

Archie takes a brief break from his existential crisis to glance at the pendant.
He shakes his head. "Despite my profession, I never was one for jewelry. Kinda glad it isn’t, I have enough to sort through at the moment."

The girl stares at the masterpiece with longing for a moment, before catching herself and blanking out again.
Sep 17, 2021 6:37 pm
It’s hard to tell exactly what the final product was going to be, but it was most likely a dress of some sort, or a frock perhaps. However, Inquisitor would bet money it was a magical item in the making, which is almost unheard of in the modern day.

"Oh, did you like this pendant? You can have it if you want." Luc offers the pendant to the girl and pays attention to her reaction.

"Oi!" exclaimed Gharn, having payed no attention to what was going on with Archie and the others - his mind finally clearing up.
"Would ya look at this? This thing here seems to be some kind of unfinished magical garment. But it's of modern making... How is it even possible?!" He exclaimed and tried to channel his magic through it to see if he could get any more information.
