Valdus says:
I think the most monky skills would be Athletics, Awareness- and Reflexes with Slay for specials?
Sounds about right. Do you need/want input from us on this?
If not, then make the character and Submit the Sheet. Drop us a note here, the site's notifications are temperamental, and I might not notice a character submission immediately, but I check for new posts from time to time.
I don't know if this is relevant to you 'monk', but bear in mind that attacking with empty hands can be severely limited by the fiction. We could make a Special Ability ('Iron Fists', maybe?) that allows us to ignore this fiction. Or we can add a fictional restriction on using weapons and say your fists are 1d6 without a Special Ability. Either do tend to
remove the option of using fun weapons, so I might hesitate to take something like that if it were me.
Rook: Are you OK with another taking Reflexes? It makes it a little less special if more than one person 'always goes first', but, given your higher DEX, you will go first... first.
Valdus: Do you have any thoughts about how you wish your character to be introduced?
You can easily have been with the caravan all along, as one of the guards, that is simple to slot you in as the action starts.
Or you can be a prisoner (or something) that we arrange to have freed. Given your bad state of health at the start (1 HP) this fits the fiction, but Leesha can help with this.
Any other options you can think of, we can make it work. It is more important that we get you into the game than that we make it make the best possible sense in the fiction.
