I'm still populating info in the Rules and Resources sections so bare with me.

Hi ! Very excited to play this ^^

I've added personal subforums for each of the players that only that player and I have access to. Each of you should have one (and only one). If for some reason you do not see yours or see someone else's, let me know.

Alright, folks. I want to work our way towards getting this game started. As we finish up mechanical details, let's get some backstory in place.

What brings your characters to Chiaroscuro?

With my background of travelling performers and Chiaroscuro being a big city, I would be there for work. Both as entertainment and as information theft/spying and information selling.

Xari would be there as refuge while seeking out like-minded individuals for his cause

I am always investigating something. So I'll be there tracking some lead.

Zefir will be here as a diplomatic envoy of House Tepet since some time already.

Sweet. I'll probably have some more questions and will try to wrap things up over the weekend so we can get started next week.

Yay! Anything else I need to work out let me know. I'm working on some minor details

Free weekend time was hard to come by, but will be moving things along hopefully soon. Just trying to lock in all the characters.

From Dec 16 - Jan 16 I'll be traveling, but I will still be checking in reguarly.

I am alive. Despite what my sleep schedule says. Xari may be getting saddle sores at this rate, though.

I'm fine, having a bit of work to do right now, but I can still post. I'll try to make an answer this evening.

Had some trouble getting the other essence game off the ground. But I have two players over there that have characters made. Not sure what's up with Gnome, but haven't gotten a response to my pings.

Would any of you have major misgivings about bringing those folks over to this game?

Nope, dive in as you see fit. Describe your character and where they are when the cannons start firing.

I recommend you be somewhere close enough to get into the action in a reasonable span of time

I assume from your name you would just be lying in some alley. :)

Just saying that I'll post tomorrow, as I'm still in the middle of the celebrations of my birthday since yesterday (y'know what it is, one with the friends, another with the family, another with other friends, etc x) ), but I'll come back quickly !

It was already two years prior since I started to drink beer legally, and to be honest, I didn't wait for that x).

Southern France. So I should have assumed you've been drinking since birth. :)

Have had family come in to town for the holiday this week. I plan to keep posting though just haven't had as much time as I'd like.

Well, I did have my first glass of whisky at 6 during Christmas. Thought it was apple juice back then x).

Sorry for disappearing, everyone. After the holiday break, work has had me on fire. I have not had the extra brain cycles to get us going again and I'm about to be traveling a bunch in December. The reality is I may not be able to before January. I want to keep this going and I ask that you stick with me but understand if you want to bail.

I'll still be here in January. I prefer to wait until the right moment rather than try to force it during the holiday season.

I'm traveling to India and Ireland from Dec 16th to Jan 16th, so my posting may be limited anyway, but I'd love to continue the story when people have more time.

Same as the others: plus for now I don’t have access to a pc, so there’s that too.

I'd love to see this start back up.. this seemed really interesting. Was looking forward to learning about this game/system.

I really want to, but this year hasn't let up yet. If you want to drop the game I understand, but as soon as I feel like I can confidently pick this up and continue it without interruptions I can DM all of you.
