Mar 4, 2022 6:27 am
OOC:
Technically Bellow turn was part of previous round, so goblin still do not have his reaction
While goblin were shooting as Anguis, Bellow approached it and hit him with the Javelin. This time you could see goblin's purple dress colouring dark red from his blood as he look at Bellow with admiration.
Bugbear cries in pain as Anguis hit him with the longsword
OOC:
Rolling con save for concentration if he fails Thorem could do his action as normal

Rolls

Con save by goblin (DC10) - (1d20)

(20) = 20

Mar 4, 2022 6:31 am
Thorem is still confused, have to roll d10 and repeat wis save at the end of turn
Mar 4, 2022 4:05 pm
WIS save. Woot. Thorem saves. So next round he will have full action.

(14) - 1 = 13

@GeneCortess Please roll d10, on 9 or 10 you could start acting already. On 1 you will move random direction
Mar 5, 2022 2:46 am
OOC:
Okay 1d10 coming. I rolled a 9. (Act normal). Was the 13 for the WIS save against confusion good?

Rolls

requested d10 - (1d10)

(9) = 9

Mar 5, 2022 7:39 am
OOC:
Thorem could do as normal on this turn due to 9 - you are still under spell bat manage to suppress it temporarily
Saved from spell next turn.
Note that he is prone and some 15-20 feet away from fighting party, especially as a dwarf you will not be able to reach neither goblin nor bugbear for melee attack. You could stand and use thrown weapon agains any of them though.

Enemy turn will happen after that.
Mar 6, 2022 2:02 am
Thorem will stand and walk 10' toward the Goblin and then casts Magic Missile and blast it with all three darts.

Rolls

Magic Missile - (3d4+3)

(131) + 3 = 8

Mar 6, 2022 6:55 am
OOC:
Thorem also need to make DC12 charisma save to be able to attack goblin
Mar 6, 2022 5:12 pm
OOC:
I'm rolling for Thorem to proceed

Rolls

Thorem: Charisma save - (1d20+0)

(13) = 13

Mar 6, 2022 5:15 pm
When fort magic missile hits goblin, you see something silimar to what you saw when Anguis tried to attack it: it hits bit goblin appears jut next to it unharmed and even energised, but the other two hits him
OOC:
So math is this: goblin ignore first 1d4+1, and heal 1 hp instead, but then get 3+1 and 1+1 more damage and that is sufficient to kill him

Rolls

Goblin restore HP on hit - (1d6)

(1) = 1

Mar 6, 2022 5:19 pm
Bugbear continue attacking Anguis crying in golbin "He is down, it is time!"

Rolls

Bugbear to hit - (1d204)

(181) = 181

Bugbear damage - (2d8+2)

(32) + 2 = 7

Bugbear to hit FIXED - (1d20+4)

(9) + 4 = 13

Mar 6, 2022 5:24 pm
OOC:
Enemy turn in ower, only bugbear is alive Anguis in melee range you all are close to him - could decide between melee and ranged attacks
bugbear is covered in his own blood (taken 13 HP damage).
You could submit your actions
Mar 6, 2022 6:53 pm
Thorem closes on the and will attack him with his greataxe attempting to finish him off as well.
OOC:
Thorem 24/28, AC(14), Greataxe in hands.
Last edited March 6, 2022 6:55 pm

Rolls

Greataxe, Damage - (1d20+5, 1d12+3)

1d20+5 : (12) + 5 = 17

1d12+3 : (8) + 3 = 11

Mar 6, 2022 6:53 pm
Where'd that magic come from?! Was that you Thorem?
Bellow spends the round assessing the room and the enemy now that the magic influence is likely removed.
Mar 6, 2022 7:11 pm
Anguis helps finish off the bugbear. Sighing as he dies Whelp, this is kinda sad, i really liked his fighting spirit.

Bellow make sure that the goblin is dead, behead him or something.
Last edited March 6, 2022 7:12 pm

Rolls

Longsword to hit - (1d20+5)

(20) + 5 = 25

Longsword damage - (1d8+5slashing)

(7) + 5 = 12

Mar 6, 2022 7:28 pm
Anguis and Thorem attack Bugbear almost simultaneously. Cutting it into 3 pieces.
Bellow didn't fin anything interesting in the room until the moment just after the moment when Thorem and Anguis Kill Bugbear. You think you see something in the corner when a magical darkness surrenders your. You all hear some movement around.
You all barely hear a whisper Anguis, Nessus, Asmodeus will be proud of you!
OOC:
It is a magic darkness around you. The enemies you were fighting are dead but someone or something has caused that magical darkness, so we stay in initiative still. Technically we continue battle.
What do you do
Mar 6, 2022 7:55 pm
There!. Bellow yells and throws his javelin at what he saw.
OOC:
This likely does nothing more than make a noise in the direction I saw something, but it is a Reckless Attack.
Last edited March 6, 2022 7:55 pm

Rolls

Javelin - (D20+5)

(3) + 5 = 8

Jav adv - (D20+5)

(18) + 5 = 23

Jav dmg - (D6+3)

(4) + 3 = 7

Mar 7, 2022 4:41 am
Thorem replies back to Bellow, Yes. Bellow. I can cast magic. as he is finishing off the Bugbear. With the sudden darkness, Thorem moves in the direction to the nearest wall he saw before the lights went out. Once there he will move along the wall toward the entrance that we came in on looking to get his darkvision working again.

He doesn't say anything while he moves.
OOC:
Thorem 24/28, AC(14), Greataxe in hands.

Anguis doesn't remember much about the spell so he rushes towards the voice trough the darkness.
Last edited March 7, 2022 9:46 am

Rolls

Arcana - (1d20+1)

(3) + 1 = 4

Mar 7, 2022 10:10 am
Bellow throws javelin into the darkness and you hear it fall on the ground
OOC:
It was disadvantage due to darkness which discount your advantage, so it is a straight roll and I take first of two rolls an 8 is a miss
Thorem gets out of the darkness and understand that darkness is concentrated around the dead goblin
Anguis moves toward the voice, but voice location changes and you all hear footsteps, you could guess going toward goblin and then toward bugbear. Anguis and the mysterious creature reach bugbear at the same time, but the creature stop him with his had and whispers just darkness disappear
GreyWord sent a note to Bubbles
GreyWord sent a note to GeneCortess
OOC:
Rolling perception for other two to see who manages to hear it, DC 10
When darkness is gone, you don't see neither goblin nor bugbear any more, only their weapons (morningstar and shortbow , quiver with 19 bolts) and some blood on the ground.
The food is still on the table as well.
OOC:
Bubbles, if you wish Anguis could make an attack roll with disadvantage or any other action as you had time for one action, but I don't think is could impact the events, so we continue with:

You are out of initiative, what do you do?
https://i.imgur.com/Ep2w4NO.png

Rolls

Thorem: Perception - (1d20-1)

(11) - 1 = 10

Bellow Banyan: Perception - (1d20+1)
