Pike continues his axe smackdown on the nearest zombie. He was a little discouraged that he was finding it so difficult to down these buggers in one fell swoop. He was lucky the last time he chewed on his tongue so he decided to do it again. He advanced until he was practically on top of the undead fiend, rivulets of blood dribbled down his chin as he brought the axe down on top of it.

Vivv and Pike finish off the one near you, while Strux creams the nearest one, and Ash fills it's chest with a bolt. It staggers, black goo oozing from its deathless face, and is nearly down (3 hp remaining).

It slashes at Strux, attempting to claw his brain out. But diminutive Strux slides under the attack.

The others advance.

Strux, quite pleased with himself for remaining mostly unscathed, takes another swing at the zombie in front of him, slashing the undead thing in an upwards motion.

Viv surges forth, spinning and whirling in a frenzy toward the unlucky zombie (#7). Her eyes flicker with flames and suddenly the wicked killing end of her poleaxe bursts into flames as well. She twirls the weapon in her hands and lunges, slicing and burning through zombie flesh. "Grrrrr!" She growls at the zombie.

Pike, using the smallest axe known to metal (it's barely a beer opener, really) slashes the zombie for tiny damage.

Vivv runs across the room with her own mad dash, and blade busting into flame, nearly one shots another zombie.

Ash sees the zombies coming in from two directions, so he moves to be able to fire either way. He takes aim at the same zombie V'Sexx advances on a fires.

As the zombie freezes from the horrific damage from Vivv, Ash threads the needle, his bolt whizzing past Vivv's ear and buries itself in the zombies forehead. It falls over backwards slowly.

The one zombie, nearly chuckling at being assaulted by a veritable can opener, slashes back at Pike, but misses.

The other two shuffle closer to the flesh bags.

You're all up. Except Hermod who should be making death checks me thinks.

Viv swings around the column (to T11) and shoves the burning end of her poleaxe into the zombie there before it can even react. "Fire! Fire!" She shouts. "Can you taste it?"

Ash quickly scurries to the right and comes up between the two columns, getting a good look at all three of the remaining zombies. He fires off a shot at the zombie to the farthermost right (#6).

Pike has had enough. He swaps out his beer can opening axe for a larger version. A mightier version. His great, great axe. He knows it's time to bring out the big toys. With both hands wrapped around its haft, he swings at the nearest zombie's head, the large axe head whirring with a deep whooshing sound as it travels in a slow circle.

"Times up ugly!"

Vivv and Ash continue to team up, their weapons wreaking havoc on the next zombie, but it does not fall.

Pike, adopting his more murderous axe, gleefully chops away at the zombie, but only nicks it. Strux's dart barely misses the creature.

The zombie advances on Vivv, and slams at her (take 2 damage), and the one before Pike does the same, but misses, perhaps fearing the much more metal instrument of death the madaxe now maniacally menaces it with.
