Always travels with at least two armed guards when outside of his office or residence. If you can seperate him from his guards he is unlikely to offer any resistance.

Has almost daily contact with someone at The Site while at his office. I have not been able to break the encryption of any of the intercepted transmissions.

Makes the trip into his office at the same time [0430] every morning and always takes the same route. Speeder with multiple escorts.

His arrival times to his residence are inconsistent. He residence is guarded and secure.

Has a meeting planned with a Baksed Shipburn of Falu Equipment Repair in two days time at 1145. Reason unknown.

Has a meeting with an Eedha Ormua at Falu Defense & Security in three days time at 0900. This may be trouble, as Eedha works secretly with the Rebellion.

Is hosting Imperials from The Site in three days time in the evening at 1930. Reason unknown.

His men are going to start rounding up people after the meeting with those from The Site, I don't know who the targets are as of yet, but will inform you as soon as I figure something out.

I would suggest taking today to reconnoiter the possible abduction locations and decide where to strike. You may want to stop by FD&S and see if you can talk to Eedha, he may have some information as to why he's being visited.

Remember to contact Mirach Mucecud when you have made your plans.

The above message is received by each of you the day after your meeting with Kyle Bastra.

Falu Defense & Security is one of many high-tech companies located on the far west of town. Known for its technically advanced - and expensively priced - home and office security systems, the company has also been rumored to have a large research and development branch where new technologies are being used to develop a wide range of future products. It's also one of the few companies that haven't seen an increase of business since arrival of The Empire.

The building's exterior is nothing short of amazing. The completely square building is sheathed in what appears to be a high strength, black glass. There are no indications of any windows or entrance ways; save a walkway that leads up to the front of the building, where an automatic door silently slides open as you approach.

The reception area just inside is made of the same material, with the receptionist desk jutting up from the floor. There are several seats in the small room, all of which are empty. A spectacled Twi'lek standing behind the desk smiles as you enter.

"Welcome to FD and S. How may we help you?"
Nov 10, 2021 7:28 pm
"'FD and S'? How terribly efficient. Aren't you at all concerned that someone will confuse you with another business with those initials? Regardless, we are here to see Eedha Ormua"
OOC:
not sure if we shouls try and lie, or charm our way in.

OOC:
I'm not sure in what capacity Eedha Ormua is related to FD&S. Are they being held prisoner, or do they work for FD&S?
Nov 11, 2021 1:52 am
OOC:
He is an employee of FS&D.
Nov 11, 2021 2:12 am
OOC:
I don't see any reason why Eedha wouldn't see us then, and thus, any reason why we have to pull any tricks.
Nov 11, 2021 8:09 pm
"Luckily there are no other companies in town with those initials, so it works out for us." the Twi'lek smiles back, pecking away at her holo-terminal.

"Eedha, eh? Hmmm... nothing on his schedule today. Was he expecting you?"
Nov 11, 2021 8:52 pm
OOC:
Do we have any kind of code-phrase to identify other rebels?
Nov 11, 2021 9:19 pm
OOC:
You may have discussed one in the past. Possibly Destiny point use?
Nov 11, 2021 9:56 pm
OOC:
Sounds good to me. Flipping a destiny. Hope no one minds.
Tayen is still a bit nervous about her new assignment, but the Alliance prepped her with the latest pass phrases and challenges for identifying other operatives, so she know she has to step up.

Tayen smiles sheepishly at the receptionist. "I'm sorry, ma'am, but we don't have an appointment. Can you just tell Eedha that we have a message from our mutual friend Honduk? Maybe if they have a minute we can deliver it quickly and then get out of their hair."
OOC:
This is a coded challenge. The proper response, which Eedha should know, is "Honduk is a dirty swindler. But I am curious what he has to say."
Nov 12, 2021 2:06 pm
The Twi'lek smiles politely and picks up a communicator.

"Mr. Ormua, there are some people here to see you. They say they have a message to share from someone named Honduk."

Her eyes widen at the response she receives and she puts the communicator back down.

"Doesn't appear that he's a fan of this Honduk person!" she says with a slight chuckle as she gets up from behind the desk.

"Please, follow me."

The sharply dressed receptionist leads you through the completely unmarked building. There are no office numbers, name plates, or even clues as to where doors exist within the walls - she simply walks up to the what appears to be a random place along a hallway and a door opens. You do see what appear to be other employees walking about, but none of them make eye contact or offer any type of greeting.

Coming to the end of a large hallway another door opens, behind which is a technical lab of some sort. The receptionist motions you all to enter before she takes her leave.

"Have a nice day!"

At the far end of the lab stands a very nervous looking Rodian. His hand is within quick reach of a blaster pistol that is holstered to his side. He takes a step forward and says.

"Honduk is a dirty swindler. But I am curious what he has to say."
Nov 12, 2021 5:58 pm
OOC:
Should we just tell him that Gen is going to visit him?
Nov 12, 2021 6:52 pm
OOC:
yeah, let's just be honest and get what info we can, he should know we are cool
Nov 12, 2021 11:04 pm
"Honduk says that you're going to get a visit soon from Gen. What's that about?"
Nov 12, 2021 11:50 pm
Yes, please enlighten us because the people he visits, it either goes very well for them or very bad. Really no middle ground.

"First I've heard of it." Eedha says quietly, shaking his head. "But it doesn't surprise me."

The Rodian walks over to one of the many lab tables and flicks the switch on an odd looking communications device of some sort. Several of the lights on the front panel come to life and over a speaker you can hear static mixed with an intermittent warbling at different frequencies.

"Encrypted Imperial Comm traffic from that site outside of town. Shouldn't even be able to detect it, but I've been able to get around their TRANSEC protocols, but still haven't broken their COMSEC. Gen knows I've been developing such a thing, damned ImpSymp knows just about everything that goes on here."

He shrugs his shoulders in defeat.

"If he's coming here for me, it's not just to say hello. When is Gen and his cronies supposed to show?"

Eedha
Nov 14, 2021 11:20 pm
"Three days, 0900. What do you plan on doing?"
Nov 15, 2021 8:06 pm
Guy add 'We have plans of our own, maybe we could align them with yours'

"Wow. Even has a time picked out, huh? That leads me to believe that he's pretty confident that he'll be able to get in to see me. Must have someone on site here in his pocket."

Eedha sighs heavily and switches off the device.

"I'm going to need to hide this, maybe replace it with a fake!? I just don't know. If the four of you already have plans then maybe we can work together to thwart that bastard."

"What do you have in mind?"
