Sometimes you want to be able to quickly and temporarily change your character's avatar.
This can be used for:
*Druidic wild shapes
*Posting as a familiar
*A library of facial expressions for your PC
In this example, I'll use a DnD 5e character sheet, but it works for any system where the GM has enabled character sheet integration.
1. Add an npcs tag
Add an NPCs tag to your character sheet (in notes for non-custom sheets). For some systems, this might be available on the menu.
Add a list of your avatars on newlines in the format: avatar name | URL to avatar image
You should be able to see these avatars when you save your sheet.
2. Posting
Under rolls, select your character sheet.
Select your avatar from your list.
The system will add the NPC tag to your post.
If you 'Post As: Player' then that avatar will be used as the main avatar. If you also select your PC in the 'Post As' then the avatar will be used as a thumbnail at the side.
