There's a podcast called Old Gods of Appalachia that has a villain a lot like Solomon Black. The voice actor does a really good job with the characterization and that's the voice I hear in my head reading his dialogue.

I'll check that out! Though the first result I got when searching it was a Monte Cook rpg of that same name

They did a Cypher System release if a TTRPG based on the podcasts. I'd almost forgotten about that.
