Howdy. Thanks for joining me in this here thingamajig. I'm hoping for daily posting during the week, and double posting on weekends. Of course, some of that is up to me to be available for responses, so I commit to being so evenings and weekends. During the weekdays, however, I can't hang on the porch all day.

Why not? Forget the porch. Get that dang sofa out there on the lawn and don't forget the toilet and tractor tire lawn pots for your flowering plants.

Only a tiny bit of lint still clings to the ranch seasoned treat before he half-heartedly tries to wipe it off across his shirt before shrugging his shoulders and popping the kernel into his awaiting mouth. Before we go too much further, I want to say hi to everyone joining in on this very serious roleplaying drama we have going here. I'm CW and it is a pleasure to get to game with names and avatars that I have only seen in chat.

This game will be my first time stepping into a system that I haven't vetted IRL so please be patient as I will most likely ask the same question over again until I get it. I can always become chum if I get too tedious!

Savage Worlds is semi-crunchy but really comes down to rolling a dice based on a skill plus another wild die (always a d6). These will automatically explode if you roll the biggest number on the die. I'll handle most of the rest, and walk you through everything as we go.
