I'd be up for deadlands, especially if it gets a bit more time in play.

I'm in for something a little longer, yep.

I have never heard about deadlands....is it hard to play?

That's possibly three. In planning an adventure, what sort of game length would you be interested in? Three to six months? More? Less?

Deadlands is the same system as this one, Savage Worlds. It's set in a fictional alternate history, after the US civil war, where magic and mad science are prevalent.

I'm fine with any of those if we can build some good rapport amongst our characters.

Here's how the game writers deal with some of the more problematic aspects of playing in the late 1880s:

Okay, so it sounds like it like the old series or the newer but still old movie Wild, Wild West. I appreciate being sensitive to my heritage but I can/do laugh at stereotypes and sometimes that includes some that I am a member.

I don't want to hog your games, but I do love westerns. Why in short order my wife and I just watched The Power of the Dog (great) and Old Henry (good). For more of a horror take, enjoyed The Wind when we watched it a couple of years ago.

So I'd be in if you'll have me. Don't have the book, though. Might procure.

Edit: Provided I don't have to play The Luchador.

I don't know the Deadlands setting terribly well, but I think maybe a little more weird west and horror west than steampunk west. But I might be wrong!

Power of the Dog was indeed very good. We recently watched it.

I'm easy on time frames, but six months sounds good.

Thanks for the game! The characters were amazing and I laughed out loud more than once at their shenanigans. This was the first time I have played SW since the original edition like 15 years ago so it was good to see some of the updates in action. Had a blast and hope we all play together some time.
