The creature's words, plus its aura, is enough for Tabat to decide on a course of action. He hefts the adamantine flail and, without further banter, swiftly rushes forward and swings at the creature with all his might.

Iseret is caught by surprise with the savageness of Tabat's sudden attack. Still, hearing Kadi's warning, she draws her short sword and attacks the creature, trying to maneuver into position for a flanking attack (which will permit sneak attack).

Jaware's season his hard, but barely does any damage. The spell however, does some. (2 arrow dmg + 4 acid = 6, after damage reduction)

Seeing the big guy fall down, Abenor can't help but feel a bit scared. He usually carried the group while the others helped him. "For Tabat!" he shouts as he draws his shortsword and attacks the creature, hoping to end this once and for all.

It occurred to me years ago that as you fight, you learn things about your opponents. Such as learning the AC from a near miss. AC 15, Damage Resistance 10/bludgeoning.
