I'll be left holding the bag.... er... the Bag of Holding.

I'm cool to have none of the shared items. Druids are cool without items :).

However
The way I read "Periapt of Wound Closure" you can't stabilize others. Only wearer benefits. I'm surprised Bladesinging wizard don't want it. If he get into AOE damage he is very prone to die. But so does cleric :) So I don't mind

Perhaps Verrain could also take the shield for better protection?

You are correct GreyWord. That is why I want it. A grave cleric can cast Spare the Dying as a bonus action from 30ft away. So as long as I am standing, I can stabilize everyone else easily. So I want the Periapt to stabilize me since you all can't do the same.

I have selected a Sentinel Shield for my uncommon item so the +2 Shield is redundant for me. If no one else can use it though, I may reconsider my choice.

I couldn't think of anything for my Sorcerer so I'll probably get a wound closure, not interested in the leftover party obtained magic items.

I think the point was that even if your are stabilized by wound closure, your still unconscious so you can't stabilize anyone else.

My celestial warlock's minor healing pool can get allies back up from unconscious nine times a day.

But you won't have to waste an action stabilizing me and as noted we have the Celestial Warlock as backup.

Am I missing something? Spell "Healing Word" is a BA, 60 feet and it don't just stabilise but actually get PC back conscious and able to continue fight. For lvl 8 characters a first level spell slot is a nuance.
Anyway I believe we have 3 personal items (jug and bag owners are irrelevant , Amulet of the Drunkard is too weak for lvl 8 characters to count)
to be split among 5 players, that's why I volunteer not to get any of them. But one more PC will have to suffer same fate.
Feb 4, 2022 9:17 pm
Well Spare the Dying is free and Healing Word isn't. Depending on how hard the DM presses us, I'll want to conserve spell points where possible.

So, assuming I am remembering the everyone's classes right, only the druid and I can use the shield and the druid doesn't want it. So if someone else would prefer the Periapt they can have it, and I'll take the +2 Shield so it doesn't go to waste and I'll figure out a different non-shield item for my free uncommon item.

If you dont want the wound closure I'll take it, otherwise I'm fine using my free uncommon item for it.
Feb 4, 2022 10:43 pm
Go ahead and take it Kirin. I was taking it more because it was on offer than because I really wanted it.

I'll take a Rod of the Pact Keeper +1 as my uncommon item.
While holding this rod, you gain a bonus to spell attack rolls and to the saving throw DCs of your warlock spells. This bonus is determined by the rod's rarity.
In addition, you can regain one warlock spell slot as an action while holding the rod. You can't use this property again until you finish a long rest.

I'm also interested in buying these common items. Are these allowed? How much will these set me back?

Clockwork Amulet
When you make an attack roll while wearing the amulet, you can forgo rolling the d20 to get a 10 on the die. Once used, this property can't be used again until the next dawn.

Feather Token
When you fall at least 20 feet while the token is on your person, you descend 60 feet per round and take no damage from falling. The token's magic is expended after you land, whereupon the disk becomes nonmagical.

Perfume of Bewitching
This tiny vial contains magic perfume, enough for one use. You can use an action to apply the perfume to yourself, and its effect lasts 1 hour. For the duration, you have advantage on all Charisma checks directed at humanoids of challenge rating 1 or lower. Those subjected to the perfume's effect are not aware that they've been influenced by magic.

175 for the token and amulet, 225 for them all.
Feb 11, 2022 5:33 pm
I'll take two Perfumes, please.

And am I correct that our party consists of...
GreyWord: Prusx - Goblin Circle of the Shepherd Druid
Verrain: G'nark - Goblin Cleric of the Grave
KirinOfDarkness: Varn Azurescale - Kobold Draconic Sorcerer
runekyndig: Judea - Warforged Bladesinger Wizard
annex: Talyn Vrinn - Drow Celestial Warlock of the Chain

I'll reuse these stats for a young man who is enamoured with paladins. He was however never touched by a god, so he replicate some of their fantastic powers with arcane science. He became an Artificer

I am giggling while I'm created this avatar of my wanna-be paladin halfling.

While is has the background of Acrolyte, I haven't fully decided what god he wished would have blessed him as a paladin. As the Armored Artificer has a lightning theme I was thinking of Talos, The Thunderhammer CG War/Tempest of The Ascendant. Do you have few words about this guy?

I love how his armor reminds me of FF White Mages.

I love his goofy smile and his hair. The armor was the closes I could find with some sort of tabard/vestment. I'll redo the clours if Talos, The Thunderhammer is a more blue and white kind of god.

@AbbyssalChimera what do we know of Talos?
