So, for a long time I have had this idea for a game system. I really want to try it out, but don't have a group IRL. So I'm wondering if there are a few people here that might be willing to try it. I will reiterate, this is an alpha test. I am not sure the mechanics are good, but I think they might be.

So the elevator pitch for the system is: Everyone starts with a pool of 5 dice that they use for actions. The dice pools refresh at the start of your turn. You use the dice to act and defend so using them all up leaves you open to enemies. The number of dice you can roll for any given action is limited by your Attributes as well, however you can merge dice to potentially get multiple successes from even one die.

The elevator pitch for the story is: An enjoyable day at Funland Amusement Park turns into an otherworldly adventure when you and your friends are whisked away to the Dream Realm to battle the invading Nightmare forces. The Nightmare want to invade Earth through the dreams of humans and turn it into a hell-scape of fear and darkness.

So the story will be action/adventure. PCs will be normal humans who transform into superheroes in the Dream Realm. Kind of a Super Sentai or Magical Girl idea.

Anybody interested?

Setting seems cool. I'm guessing you have a short test adventure in mind? I'm at my limit more or less, but I think I could squeeze a shorties. What kind of post frequency do you have in mind?

Yeah, basically just some soft RP and few combat encounters to explore the mechanics.

I don't need the added pressure of a heavy post requirement either, so like 4 posts a week works for me.

I'd be interested in running with you through a test of your system.

I'd be willing to give it a whirl

Does the system work the same way for non-combat situations?

Then I'm interested, too.

I'd like to spectate if possible. I'm always interested in new systems.
