OOC:
Are we all hoofing it this round? A chase? Do we dare leave our dwarf friend-corpse down here with gnolls, frightened though they are?

"Gilly if you throw the cloak over Thurig he'll be safe and we can chase that traitor!"

Eltrezar moves to the base of the stairs, lantern in hand. This was all a young man's game.

Is that to say that Eltrezar doesn’t want to give chase? There’s a Level Up waiting for each of upstairs. If they find those coins… :D

OOC:
Oops, that's what happens when I post hastily! Luban would then try to chase him down with the bow and hope to catch him around the corner.
OOC:
So quick question for @cowleyc, before we get to everyone else...
Since you know the Man-at-Arms just turned the corner 10 seconds ago, I don't think I'm giving any meta knowledge away by revealing whas around the corner here...
If Luban moves only his normal Movement, he can go 40'. Not enough to see around the corner. But if he uses his turn to take no other Actions, he can move up to his full Movement Rate (120' this Turn). Doing so would get him to the end of this hallway at 60', and also would reveal the Man-at-Arms around the corner, heading for the crypts. In theory, Luban could catch up to the Man-at-Arms, or even pass him, but wouldn't be able to attack or take any other actions this turn and the Man-at-Arms still hasn't acted this Round.

How far would Luban like to move after the Man-at-Arms this round? Only 40'? More than 40'?

OOC:
With the damage he took, I don't think he's chasing the man-at-arms to the end of the earth. He'll go his full standard movement, stopping before he turns the corner.

Unwilling to take another hit from the Man-at-Arms's bow in his present condition, Luban moves forward cautiously. Eltrezar moves to the base of the stairs and waits for the commotion upstairs to be addressed.

If Ora was to cast fly on the unconscious dwarf, could the party kind of push him through the halls as he floats?

It’s a silly idea, but it would allow maybe even just Eltrezar to follow along behind guiding the dwarf’s levitating body around!

OOC:
Huh…
I’d say if you want to burn your Fly scroll, sure, it would cause the unconscious dwarf to levitate off the ground, but he wouldn’t be able to move himself around. Someone could probably push him around for the duration of the spell like he’s on an invisible gurney.

"Gilly, go! We’ll follow behind!"

Just then, Ora reaches into her small bundle of scrolls and removes the Fly spell. She reads it, hurried and stressed, with a hand on the fallen dwarf’s shoulder.

Once the spell is complete, the unconscious warrior levitates a few feet off the ground.

"Push, Eltrezar. Guide him out! Unless you want those gnolls to find us alone once they’ve regained their courage! Push, and I’ll watch our path! Pass me the torch!"

Eltrezar, bewildered, does just that. Had the young woman just spent a scroll of untold arcane power as a cart?!

These scrolls have unlimited uses… ri…right? G… guys? Spugnoir wouldn’t just let me have them if they didn’t have unlimited uses, right? GUYS?!

OOC:
I'd say that using a scroll is the equivalent of casting a spell, and therefore takes a round to do. We don't really follow the "magic user players have to declare before Initiative rolls", because of the PbP format, but I will say that we can assume she declared it at the start of the turn and it takes up Ora's ability to do any other Actions or Movement that round. She and Eltrezar will have to start moving Thurig out on the next turn.
Ora casts the spell contained within the Fly scroll, and the fallen dwarf rises off the ground a few feet. Gilly tries moving forward but has no source of light besides the wizard's at the moment, Spugnior having run off with the other light. She reaches the edge of the illumination shining from the stairs below then moves slowly forward, and Luban and Mal see the halfling advancing slowly forward, pupils dilated, one hand on the wall for guidance in the blackness before her.

Round 3 begins! Turn order is as follows:
1. Gnolls
2. Party: Gilly, Eltrezar, Maloria, Luban, Thurig, Ora, Spugnoir
3. Man-at-Arms

You hear the gnolls continue their retreat down the northern corridor, seemingly not at all interested in engaging with the party in their current numbers.
From the direction of the crypts you suddenly hear the voice of Spugnoir call out, resonate through the dungeon's oppressing stonework. "Everyone! Eltrezar! Ora! Torches out! Luban and Mal, come quickly, while the rest of us are all blind in this darkness!"

In the darkness, Gilly reaches out and grasps part of Maloria’s armor.

"Stop." she whispers to the dwarf and the half-orc.

"Wait for the others. They’ll ambush us. That one will cast his magic while the other cuts our throats."

She shakes her head in the dark, waiting to see if all are agreed.

Leading the dwarf and the wizard after the others, Ora makes her way up the stairs and down the tunnel.

She calls out into the empty black beyond the torchlight:

"Spugnoir! Where are you? You forgot your scrolls! Come back!"

While Gilly waits for Eltrezar and Ora to bring up the rear with Thurig's prone form being moved forward, she hears Ora speak with a commanding voice that carries through the halls. "Spugnoir! Where are you? You forgot your scrolls! Come back!"
The tone the woman takes seems to have a supernatural element of authority in it, and from somewhere west or northwest Gilly can almost sense the hesitation and indecision in Spugnoir's voice when the man replies, "I-- I'm sorry Miss Rusk, but I musn't... Please, I implore you, extinguish your lights!"
