Wizards of the Coast's Waterdeep Dragon Heist as seen through the eyes of adventurous newspaper reporters working at the Waterdeep Wazoo.

Waterdeep Dragon Heist has a reputation for being frustrating and complicated. But rest assured! Our intrepid reporters will get plenty of hot leads.

This is a madcap romp in a fantasy metropolis. It doesn't take itself too seriously - if you're looking for dark, crunchy, tactical, or poignant then...

Characters begin at level 2. No homebrew. Tasha's content is allowed.

I can't think of any content warnings. This is a PG13 game.

The newspaper as a group patron provides a drop-in-drop-out mechanic that might be used to swap the party about - e.g. if players don't want to commit to the whole campaign.

There are only a couple of spaces - I'll prioritise new members with few games and who are looking for a 5e game (@Cettish, @seifi, @elihaun?).

I'd Be Interested In a Game with a far from serious tone, of course If you don't have any trouble finding players which I doubt you will then take someone else.

By the way, Adam is a great DM

Interested, if you happen to have room.

Man, I'm tempted to apply, but I'm not new. I've played in a couple of games run by Adam, and both were loads of fun!

Psst, if you dont bring attention to it, nobody will notice

Tosses Jabes a bottle of invisibility to help him avoid notice. (Probably works totally against him getting in the game unfortunately.)

It is basically working for a newspaper doing the adventures?

Yeah, that could be great fun. I am certainly interested.

You're still adventurers with classes and levels, but the newspaper employment acts as a group patron. WDH can leave players feeling a bit lost, and in PbP this is always a problem. A group patron can provide leads, clues, and access to resources - as well as some fun RP opportunities and tropes.

It also means that if a player wants to sit out for a while, then a new adventurer reporter can step in.

I'm not new to GP, but I'll toss in my hat -- the hat with the business card in the brim -- if there's an empty reporter's desk.

Thanks for clearing it up.
Still sounds like fun. If you have room, I'd love to join.

I recall giving the adventure a shot before, but it didn't exactly go super well ^^;
If you've got space, now or later, I'd be interested in joining such an interesting take on the adventure!

Looks like you've got your fill, but I'll take a place on the waiting list.

I did @ you, so it'd be rude if I didn't invite you now!

That's been 24 hours. Sorry seifi and elihaun, the game must go on.

Thanks for your interest. If spaces open up, I'll bump the thread.
