[Interest Check] Escape from Dino Island - PBTA

The Game System: Escape from Dino Island is a one-shot PBTA (Powered by the Apocalypse) game. It won’t be my first time playing the game, but it will certainly be my first time running it. Experienced players and PBTA DMs may be disappointed with my inexperience with the system, but I really want this to be a learning opportunity for me and PBTA.

The Pitch: In Escape from Dino Island well… you’ll be escaping from Dino Island. Probably… Hopefully… We’ll see. It’s a one-shot game so it’s intended to move quite quickly. We’ll jump straight into the action and have some pre-game questions to get us all set up and on the road. You really are people trying to escape a dinosaur-filled island.

Adult Content: Let’s assume that there will be coarse language, and some dinosaur-on-human violence. No sexual content.

Characters: PBTA works on a set of Playbooks. I have all of them to be made available to you. If you’ve seen any dinosaur related media (wink wink) then you’ll know the archetypes - The Kid, the Soldier, the Scientist, the Paleontologist etc.

Game Duration and Post Frequency: Though it hasn’t always held true, I like to keep things moving along at at fairly rapid pace. One post a day would be where I’d like to be. I also like to run a pretty quick game, and given that it’s a one shot; I anticipate the game lasting 4-6 weeks, if even.

How to Apply: Just right here, underneath. Nothing more to it! Everyone and anyone is welcome! Though, and I should stress this, it’s my first time running PBTA, and I’m fuzzy enough on the concept, so understanding players are preferred.

Let’s say between 4-5 players! I think that’s about average, right?

Oh-ho, this seems fun and I've been wanting to give PBTA a try, though this would be my first time playing it. If you are game for one more and a newbie at that I'd love to join, but if you are already full or want an experienced group I'm getting close to my game limit anyway...
