Mikael watches and listens as Sabine tucks the pistol away. Finally, he says, "Good idea. We might be kids, but I'm tired of going up against these people who mean to hurt us and everyone we love. Let's get him in the car, at least in there he can sober up."

Mikael will help in maneuvering the alcohol-sodden officer into the back of his own vehicle.

You easily take his gun and keys, then you lead Granfors to his car. Just as you open the back door and lead him inside, he tries to bolt, however. That seems to be going to far. Or maybe he's just coincidentally now snapping out of his torpor. At either rate, he's trying to run away, his hands still cuffed behind his back.
OOC:
Mikael, give me a Force roll to keep him in check as he tries to escape and to push him into the car.
+1 for the handcuffs as an Item Bonus

Mikael scrambles to hold onto the larger man, as drunk as he is, grabbing at the chain between the cuffs behind his back as he darts.

"You stupid idiot!" Henry growls at the man.

"What do you thinks going to happen to your wife if they catch us out here because you’re being stupid?"

As Henry scolds the policeman, Mikael manages to wrestle him into the back of the police car and lock him in there. He should be secure there. No way for him to get out. That's what it's designed for after all.

"Let me disconnect the battery," she says and quickly finds the lever to open the trunk of the car. She uses her tools to loosen and disconnect the contact cables from the battery, then closes the trunk again.
"Better safe than sorry. He won't be able to sound the horn either."

"Alright." the boy blows hard in frustration.

"The quicker we get in, the quicker we get out and get him out of here."

Henry taps on the glass. He raises a finger to his lips that means shhhh…

"Before someone finds him."

OOC:
Sounds like you're planning to head into the facility next. You know of the large main entrance to the building. Are you going to take that or look around and try and find another entrance.

If the second, that would be an Investigate roll

"We can’t go in the front. We’ll be caught… or worse in seconds. Come on, this way!" Henry says, waving the others to follow him!

Rolls

The facility is built into the wall of the mountain - or rather rise - so two of its four sides aren't really accessible. The main entrance is on the side facing the lake. On the wall to its left, there is a large loading dock for trucks. There are multiple gates there, all of them closed and most likely locked but you might be able to force them open.
On a protruding piece on that side, there is also a small service entrance door, also closed and almost certainly locked. It would probably be harder to break open than the gates but you could try to pick that lock.

Alternatively, the front entrance is just a large glass double door so getting through that, even if locked, should be easy.

Henry scoffs and begins to fish around in his pocket. This… this he hadn’t bought for today. This was something he carried around with him for occasions just like this.

He produced a small tight roll. He places it on the ground and unrolls it carefully. Inside… lock picks.

They hadn’t always been used on such a noble endeavor, but Henry hoped he could put them to good use here.

"Don’t block the light and I’ll get us in in a minute!"
OOC:
Oh god. Is it tinker? Why did I take this item? I only have 1d6 in Tech. :D

It is Tinker. But at least you get a +2 for using your iconic item

Do you want to take a condition to push the roll?
Upset would be easy to justify

Mikael tucks in close to Henry to shine some more direct light on the lock while he works, hoping the extra illumination might help.

Rolls

+1d6 Aid to Henry if allowed - (1d6)

(2) = 2

OOC:
It is allowed but of no help 😆

Stina looks over their shoulder as the lock resists their attempts. "Hey Henry," she whispers, "mind if I have a go?"

She leans in and tries the lock, borrowing Henry's lockpicks. Now, let's see...

Rolls

Stina Ekberg: Tinker - (8D6)

(54654552) = 36

May 17, 2022 8:32 am
If Stina cannot manage to get the lock open for some reason, Mikael decides to commit to walking up and striking the glass door hard with the butt of the maglight.
May 17, 2022 10:19 am
Sabine shines her light low and keeps watch around them. She doesn't like them being out in the open in this strange place.
May 17, 2022 6:07 pm
Henry kneels down in front of the side door and begins trying to pick the lock. Both Mikael and Sabine try to help him a bit by making sure he has plenty of light but in the end, all he manages to do is make a bit of a ruckus while the door stays locked.
As Mikael already starts heading towards the main doors of the facility, considering entering through there, Stina takes Henry's place and, unlike him, after a bit of work, she actually manages to get the lock to click open.

As the door swings open, you all hear footsteps from behind it. Someone heard your attempts to break in...
