Delg begins to fallow Kai into the dark when he looks up from stroking his beard he see a hooded lamp extended out to him keep it coverd untill we need the light to protect ourselves Kai winks😉 at the small slender dwarf he then raises a single finger to his lips in the universal signal of quiet

Heading over to the far side of the stream to access the dry trail that leads inward you notice that a small area of the thickets has been hollowed out to form a lookout. Wooden planks flatten out the briars and provide room for guards to lie hidden and watch the area. Fortunately for your group the two goblins stationed here are terrible at their job. As you each cross the stream you can hear the heated bickering between the two of them.

OOC:

The first two in the marching order have a clear view of the goblins who are little more than five feet away. The rest of you can see them arguing by looking over the thickets along the bank of the stream. (The thickets will provide half cover for those who stay behind it, and it is difficult terrain should you try and move through it)

Kai looks over his shoulder to the group and nods to his fellow companions i hope we can strike before they can warn the others
Kai slips his short sword from his quarter staff steeling himself for the surprise attack on the goblins. Boom Kai leaped out of the bushes striking at one of the goblins

OOC:

kai will position himself between the goblins and the cave lashing out at the one closest to the entrance going for non leathal damage and quick question do I add anything to sneak atk damage or is it just a strait roll

Seeing the monk move ahead, Colten quietly follows, drawing his sword as he moves. If anyone is fast enough to catch these things, I will be the one.

Sneaking up to the goblin that Kai is not engaging, Colten flashes his blade forward in a quick thrust.

OOC:

In that case, Colten stabs! And if the goblins try to run, stab again!
Sentinel:
-When you hit a creature with an opportunity attack, the creature's speed becomes 0 for the rest of the turn.
-Creature within 5 feet of you provoke opportunity attacks from you even if they take the Disengage action before leaving your reach.
-When a creature within 5 feet of you makes an attack against a target other than you (and that target doesn't have this feat), you can use your reaction to make a melee weapon attack against the attacking creature.

Jumping from the bushes Kai is on one of the goblins before either can react and smacks it hard with the flat of his blade. It turns, stunned look on his face, as it reaches for its scimitar.

Not to be outdone, Colten moves quickly to attack the second goblin and slips his blade between the creature's ribs before it's even aware of the nobleman's presence. With a pathetic little yelp it drops to the ground dead.

After I get handed the lantern I summon my Mage Hand and have it hold the lantern withing reach and yet following me keeping my hands free to move about.

After seeing the two goblins I tug on my beard and ready firebolt.

Reading an action of a cast of firebolt: trigger goblin running away or out from the cave.

One goblin lies dead at Colten's noble feet while the other is fighting with Kai. You can clearly see all three and would have no problem rushing joining them.

The dazed goblin still has enough of his wits about him to dodge Gareth's blade. Rolling to his side he springs back up to his feet and quickly realizes his dire situation. Throwing his weapon to the ground he throws his little arms up in the air. "Don't kill! Don't kill!"
