"That work good!" Puck says as the wolves, while still casting stares in the party's direction, busy themselves with the offered food.
Jul 2, 2016 4:14 am
Kai will slowly approach the wolves extending the jerky and try to pet the wolf
Jul 2, 2016 5:17 am
Gareth steps forward speaking loud enough for Kai to hear him but not loud enough for his voice to echo. Kai, wait. Allow me. Kneeling down away from the wolves, he looks at the wolf in the middle and speaks to it. We don't mean to alarm you. We mean you no harm. Evrything is okay. You are safe now. Can you let the wolves know that they are safe in our presence? If you trust us, we will set you free and you won't have to deal with fighting for the goblins anymore and you can live at your own free will. You can start a family and have puppies. With two fingers on his temple he concentrates on the poor animal.

At this rate, the next thing we know we'll be shaking hands with the enemy. Colten lets out a little sigh. But what use is complaining? They'll never learn not to play with fire without a little burn.

OOC:
colten I love your characters attitude 😋
Jul 2, 2016 4:11 pm
Cocking his head to the side the creature appears to be intently listening to each of Gareth's words. With a short bark it sits obediently and starts to wag its tail slowly back and forth. The other two wolves, while not quite as friendly looking as the one in the middle, seem to be quite a bit more calm in their demeanor as well.
OOC:
No need to roll on the Animal Friendship spell - the Wisdom ST is against your spell casting ability (12 in this case).

Jul 2, 2016 4:36 pm
In my studies, I have been trained lightly in the magical arts. Gareth watches Kai feed the wolves. Do you think we should free them?
Jul 2, 2016 7:08 pm
kai look at at the animals to determine if they are being well treated or are the goblins abusing the hell.out of them

Rolls

Perception - (1d20+4)

(11) + 4 = 15

"What will you have these animals do, Lord Devereaux?" Colten asked with a slight hint of impatience. "Should they fight their former masters, who fed and raised them? Destroy years of companionship? I find those options distasteful, personally. . ."
Jul 2, 2016 11:43 pm
Gareth half turns his head to Colten, feeling a bit irked. I have a feeling these creatures have been mistreated. As much as I'm sure they would like a vite out of those that have beaten them, I am sure they would rather run free then be chained like a prisoner. No creature with two, four, or even a thousand legs should be treated like this. Puck, how are these wolves treated? Do they get hit alot by their masters?

The wolves appear a bit thin but do not show any obvious signs of abuse. "Doggies for fighting goblin enemies. Klarg and others throw leftover food down chimney for them" Puck says, motioning to the far side of the room.
Jul 3, 2016 12:50 am
Chimney? Where?
Jul 3, 2016 2:25 am
Puck points to the far end of the room, opposite where the party entered. "There!"
Jul 3, 2016 8:32 pm
Colten moves to the chimney with quick strides, steering clear of the wolves in the process. With detached interest, he examines the opening.
OOC:
What does it look like? Oh dear. . .too dark to see anything, I suppose.

Rolls

Investigation - (1d20+1)

(4) + 1 = 5

Jul 3, 2016 8:50 pm
Kai reaches for the the collar around the wolfs neck to release the collar. What do you see my friend.
Jul 4, 2016 4:53 am
At the base of the chimney, which is really more a natural chute, are various bits of rubbish, food scraps, and bones that have been thrown down from somewhere above. There isn't enough light for Colten to get any sort of idea of just how high the chute may go.
OOC:
Is Kai freeing one of the wolves? Who's carrying light sources at this point?
Jul 4, 2016 5:14 am
"Garbage. Trash. . .I can't see anything else." Colten replied. He was NOT about to dig through that filth, or touch it, for that matter.
