Gundren and Sildar were to go ahead of us, and meet up in Phandalin. Luka looks at the dead horses. I fear Delg might be on to something.

Colten wipes his rapier with a rag before sheathing it with a flourish.

"Well fought, Gareth." He says to the other nobleman with a approving nod. "Too bad that last one ran off. . .should we give chase?"

With that, the young nobleman kneels close to the ground where the goblin was last spotted and searches for tracks.

While Colten does not find any tracks it does appear that this site has been used as an ambush site for quite some time. The thickets to the north of the road making convenient cover for archers and several avenues of approach have been cleared for melee attackers to move forward.

There is a trail hidden behind the thickets as well which appears to head off to the north east.

Kai turns and speaks upthe fact their bodies are not here and that the only foot prints we see here are goblin I feel that it is very possible that they took prisoners... I feel We should go and find Gundren it at all possible

Well, why not take the wagon? Gareth shrugs. Besides, maybe we can find that foul creature that ran off and ask him a few questions. If you know what I mean.

Luka bites her finger in thought, and scans the area for a moment. We can't pull a wagon full of supplies through a forest. Hmmm. I propose we hide the wagon off the road, and we go after the goblin. We hide our supplies for later, and go investigate if they did indeed take prisoners; one of which might be Gundren.

P-please friends, the more we talk, the more Gundren's life is at risk. Let us seek out the goblin, and then, we return to our supplies, and head to Phandalin as instructed.

Colten says nothing more. With his hand resting casually on his sword hilt, the nobleman stalks off towards the hidden trail towards the north east, but still remaining in earshot.

Kai clears a spot in the back of the wagon and lays the drivers body in it then covering it with a blanket I mean no insult young one in my experience the worst of mankind has come from those who call themselves noble... Kai takes a calming breath and turns to the Colten I truly mean no offense I should not let me past dictate my future relationships; I apologize sir Coltan
