Started a Star Wars FFG Game years ago that fizzled out due to personal reasons. I again have availability and would like to restart the campaign. I un retired it and am looking for some new players. We do have a couple returning players who may change up their characters. Total number of players will be between 4 to 6.

Characters will be part of a larger crew on a Pelta Class Frigate The Diligence, a senators ship, traveling around the galaxy.

I'm interested in joining. I have two character ideas that I can't decide between. I'll put them both here, and if I get into the game, I'll pick the one that seems to fit the group better.

Character 1: K-P80
Species: Droid (protocol)
Career / Specialty: Diplomat / Ambassador
Motivation: A Belief in Justice, instilled in him by his previous master/friend who was a senator in the republic before it fell.
Duty: Intelligence
Description: K-P80 serves a traditional protocol droid role on the Diligence, but he is also an intelligence asset for the rebel alliance. He watches, listens, and records information and events wherever the Diligence goes, from whomever the senator deals with. As a protocol droid, he blends into the background, largely ignored, which puts him in an excellent position to observe.

Character 2: Vashkatel
Species: Goatal
Career / Specialty: Spy / Scout
Motivation: Belief in The Jedi
Duty: Internal Security (Goatals are really good at identifying traitors and spies)
Description: Vashkatel ("Vash" to his friends - the few he has) is a cranky, grizzled old goatal. As far as most people know, he is some kind of veteran mercenary or maybe an ex-bounty hunter, who now works security for the Diligence and its crew. In reality, Vash was a member of the Antarian Rangers, the paramilitary organization that assisted and supported Jedi in the field for hundreds of years. Vash fought in the Clone Wars as scout, and he was on the battlefield when the clones turned on the Jedi. The memories still haunt him. Now he's an old vet, trying to find purpose in a world where both the Jedi and the Rangers are gone. He's not really sure the rebel alliance has any kind of chance at overthrowing the Empire, but he hasn't found anything better to do with himself.

Name: Kit'alo'nuruodo or Talon for short
Species: Chiss
Career/Specialty: Engineer/Scientist
Motivation: Progress
Duty: Tech Procurement
Description: About the time that the Clones War was drawing to an end, one of the enigmatic Chiss fled the Ascendancy. Wanted for stealing a large sum of money (to fund his research, of course), Kit'alo'nuruodo escaped just ahead of the Ascendancy's law enforcement into the galaxy at large. Unequipped for life on the run, he found it even more difficult to fit in thanks to the newly-established Empire and its anti-alien New Order. And with his research producing no valuable technology (so far), he had to resort to working on ships, serving as a mechanic, even if this is not his primary area of expertise. Laying low doesn't lend itself well to building much of a reputation, but slowly, he managed to establish himself well enough to secure a place on the crew of The Diligence, a relatively recent development. Perhaps working for a senator will find him the right sort of connections needed to continue his true life's calling. Any potential Rebellion against this Emperor will need cutting edge technology to have a chance, after all.

Name: "Warlock" CT-9966
Species: Mandalorian Human
Career / Specialty: Bounty Hunter / Martial Artist
Motivation: Redemption
Duty: Damage Control
Description:
CT-99s were fielded so late in the Clone Wars that Jango Fetts DNA had degraded beyond recognition. One of of "Sad Batch" Warlock is a clone, but he doesn't very strongly resemble Jango Fett at all. Bearded with shoulder length curly hair, an impressive physical specimen. Odd for a clone he eschews armor and walks in a robe carrying a besbev, a kind of enormous flute used by Taung warriors during the Siege of Coruscant. make his impressive physique even more intimidating. He smells like incense.

Quiet, and solitary seem to be the words that best describe Warlock socially. One of his Mutations seems to cause him tension headaches. He doesn't like brightly lit or loud places. Spending much of his free time training, stretching, or meditating. He isn't mean spirited however and enjoys holochess recreationally, a game of strategy he is quite adept at.

He has worked fire control on The Diligence as long as anyone on the crew can remember, though officially his role is as the Captain's Bodyguard. His Mutations haven't aged him as swiftly as other clones. Also his late phase meant he didn't see much action in the Clone Wars. So inexperienced but capable, he is looking to prove himself to himself. Fighting for the underdog is the best way to do that. As for how he resisted his inhibitor chip and fell off the radar, that's anyone's guess. The chip was removed, and the "Sad Batch" never being inducted into the 501st meant he was indoctrinated to believe in a Republic that no longer exists.

If this is still open, would like to throw my hat in the ring here:

Name: Posh Givv
Species: Sullustan
Career / Specialty: Ace / Rigger
Motivation: Connection
Duty: Support
Description: Posh is an affable and helpful pilot who loves getting his hands dirty. Always tinkering on the Diligence to get a little more speed or 1% more maneuverability from the personal vehicles housed on the ship. He officially mans the maintenance crew for issued equipment and vehicles, but will also unofficially help improve the odds of any mission off the ship by throwing a tweak here and there. He also loves to build remote control racers and gleefully challenges anyone who seems receptive to a race around the corridors. He's definitely thinking that this should be an official activity of the crew, and is in absolutely no way dangerous. Only a few small explosions.
