Interest Check - 7e Call of Cthulhu one shot-FULL

Considering running a CoC 7e (1920s setting) one shot but I want to offer this to newbs to the game that want to give it a try. Not decided on the scenario, but might be Dead Boarder, a scenario I've run before on Gamer's Plane. If this appeals, please post your interest below.

Dead Boarder

This is a murder investigation, set in 1930's Providence, Rhode Island, which centers on the discovery of a body in a locked room. There are
secrets contained in the room to be uncovered by the investigators.

Characters are pregenerated and will have their own preset motivations etc, you will provide a name and personality of your own.

This is open initially to newcomers to Call of Cthulhu.

Post frequency will be discussed

The scenario is a one shot with no expectation to turn into a fully fledged campaign afterwards.

Last playthrough on Gamersplane took 26 days but it will depend on post frequency.

Oooh I really enjoyed Dead Boarder, and Knifesedgegames is a great GM and super patient with newbies! I cannot recommend this one-shot game enough!

I'm tentatively in for it. I do adore the awfulness that is CoC (in a good way awful) but I'm not sure I'm stretching myself too thin. I will update once I know how another recruitment goes.

I’d love to play; I’ve played a smidge of call of Cthulhu by PbP and a couple sessions IRL after a campaign transitioned to the system, but I’ve largely been stuck keeping.

Sounds like we have a party coming together. I'm happy to do this with four, it's a nice number for the scenario I have in mind, so we have so far...
