Roll Presence + d4 every morning to determine how many times you can use Powers that day; choose from your available scrolls.
When reading a scroll, test Presence DR12. If you succeed, the Power is activated and you subtract one use from your daily total.
If you fail, the Power doesn’t work, you lose d2 HP and you become dizzy for the next hour. During this time, Powers will always fail in the
worst possible way.
If you roll a 1 on the test, or try within 1 hour of failing a power, roll on arcane catastrophes table.
1. Grace of a dead saint: D2 creatures heal D10 HP each
2. Grace for a sinner: A creature of your choice gets +D6 on one roll
3. Whispers Pass the Gate: Ask 3 questions to a deceased creature
4. Aegis of Sorrow: A creature of your choice gets 2D6 temporary HP for 10 rounds
5. Unmet Fate: One creature, dead no more than a week, is awakened to life but has terrible memories
6. Bestial Speech: You can speak with animals for 20 minutes
7. False Dawn / Nights Chariot: Create light or darkness in the area for 3D10 minutes
8. Hermetic Step: Find all traps for 2D10 minutes
9. Roskie's Consuming Glare: d4 creatures lose D8 HP each
10. Enochian Syntar: One creature blindly obeys a single command
1. Palms open the southern gate: A ball of fire hits 2d creatures, dealing d8 damage per creature
2. Tongue of Eris: A creature of your choice is confused for 10 minutes
3. Telekinesis: Move an object up to d10x10 feet for d6 minutes
4. Lucy-Fires Levitation: Hover for rounds: d10+Presence
5. Daemon of Capillaries: One creature suffocated for d6 rounds, losing d4 hp per round
6. Nine violet signs unknot the storm: Produce d2 lightning bolts dealing d6 damage each
7. Foul psychopomp: Summon d4x: (d6) 1-3: Skeletons, 4-6 Zombies
8. Wetzhuotl Blind your Foe: A creature becomes invisible for d6 rounds, or until damaged. Attack and defend at +6
9. Eyelid blinds the mind: d4 creatures fall asleep for one hour unless they succeed DR14 test
10. Death: All creatures with 30 feet lose a combined total 4d10 HP, lowest HP first
