Need a character or 2...

I need a character or 2 for Explorers of the Uncharted Continent. I have 13 or so people who have applied at various times. Instead of messaging each one I thought I would post here. This a new developing setting I am creating. Players are about to return from their first adventure and now is a good time to add characters. The party could definitely use a fighter type and any character must be first level and pho only. Other stipulations do apply for the setting. Please check out the game threads before deciding to apply. Some many not like the game requirements

Thanks. I'm interested, but was hoping to get more info about character-creation rules, post frequency, and other stuff like that. I can’t find that info in the forums. Is it posted somewhere else?

I will repost it here. Frequency is about once a day. That does not always apply if something does not pertain to your character.
Character creation is concept first( fitting with the setting) then rolling for abilities once accepted. Method is 4d6 drop the lowest per ability and you may chose what roll goes to what ability. Characters roll for wealth... No class given equipment or other rules given equipment unless specifically authorized. All equipment must be purchased.

Previously characters had to just arrive on the continent...literally. I will now allow characters to have been on the continent for few weeks or they can be just getting off the boat. Characters may opt to be patrons from the Known Realms per the rules listed in the game thread "Setting" ( Link to the game is above in this thread)

Conditions are primative dont expect to run to town every time your character needs something. I cannot emphasize enough this is an early exploration game.

Some info about a possible character

I'm thinking about a half-orc barbarian with the outlander background. He grew up in an orc tribe in a hot jungle area of the Known Realms. A patron came to the tribe looking to hire someone who might be more comfortable than most in the jungles of the new continent. As a half-orc, this character was always struggling to gain status in the tribe, and he saw this as an opportunity to break free of those limitations. So he signed up.
