In your specific case, since Roderick is gone, you can't get his approval (maybe in writing somewhere). You can get someone to praise you for something you're good at or have Alexander mention your secret to pull bones from your skeleton (and get a bonus reserve). I guess waiting for him to spit it out is probably better mechanistically, but it's up to how you see it going down :D

I feel like he hasn't been lucky lately, I like the idea of him coming into the room, seeing Claire has the letter, then blurting out the truth . . lol
