so I forgot to clarify that a
supernatural effort requires rolling a 3d6 :)
@Dr_B, Roderick only has one weird die, but you can roll any dice to make up 3, they don't need to match the "challenge type"
I like the risk being that you might be noticed with these women, which could be a problem down the line depending on how things play out. It just works nicely against Rodericks efforts to keep the Rookwood name an example. The other fears are reasonable, but I don't feel they would apply here as much as becoming the village talk :D 1 success and you avoid that.
Now I was thinking you can get two rewards so... you can either 1) remember old rumors in town about a cult or 2) figure out their question (Are your dead at peace?"), or both, if you get enough successes.
If that sounds good, you can roll the 2 missing dice :D
@Cettish, I was thinking on top of a closet facing the mirror, but that doesn't have to be right in front of the mirror. So I'll leave that up to you and how if fits your description better. Is it weirder to just have the teddy looking in the direction of the mirror, foreshadowing something in the unseen reflection, or to be staring straight into it, maybe even with an imaginary expression on its face?
