A old richly adorned entrance to the manor. It is still as you all remember it, the staircases, the rich chandeliers, the art work of Rookwoods long gone, its impressive statues and paintings arranged to show the family's wealth and influence.
The old portraits of make it clear that some of the Rookwood were women of unnatural grace. But Claire doesn't recognize her own parents in any of the painting.

Stacks of of boxes and jars play tricks with the shadowy cirners, their strong smell of spices and cured meats kept in the rough surfaced of its shelves in the crowded room. There is a door to the grounds the servants used to get supplies in.

A tree, with leafless branches of a tree, where a crow likes to stand. Has a secret passage to somewhere, but it seems to be blocked by living roots?

The room behind a old door adorned with a ornate plaque. A rather detailed carving of a pair of swords carved on it. The Rookwood hall of Arms is filled with mementos of past Rookwood military men. The is a small library filled with all manner of books based on the art of War.

A big empty space, completely immersed in silence. The wall candles are lit; the chairs are neatly placed in a circle around the room, and the floor is polished so well it mirrors the elaborately painted ceiling. There is an old chandelier at the middle of the room. The instruments are in the musicians corner as expected. The air feels colder, but there all the windows are closed. The candlefire seems to be a shade bluer than when he entered the room...
There is that old wall painting of a skeleton dancing with a woman holding some roses. The colors are so vivid it is almost as if it is trying to get his attention, specially the strange ancient writings on it (
