I'm Adam. I'm a Brit who's been playing on Gamers' Plane for a couple of years. I've run about a dozen one-shots (short adventures) and a handful of campaigns here. I've joined this game as a co-DM in case Anti needs a hand.

This is a short tutorial adventure; it's for people who are new to RPGs, or new to DnD 5e, or just new to GP. To better provide help during the tutorial game, here's a quick survey - please select all that apply.

I wouldn't mind for Kashi and Merana to know each other if you would like? We can either do that where they know each other or we can do it where Kashi would just approach and try to start conversation based on her pouting. I just wanted to run it by you first before I sent my post haha.

How do you think we know each other? I haven't seen your character yet so I don't know much about them?

In a brief little run down, Kashi is a high elf paladin with an eagerness to protect and perform acts of kindness to those around him. He has a fascination with the cosmos and the world around him and wants to preserve it all within reason. He's constantly on the move and more than likely wouldn't be upfront about why unless someone was real close to him.

This is the closest I have to him at the current moment before I can get around to doodling him.

Mmm, Merana is a soldier who is very proud and stubborn. She sees herself as a leave people alone unless they cause trouble kind of person. She is a wood elf. I think she would not be so high to value Kashi for just niceness but maybe respect him for being honorable. What do you think Kashi would think of Merana?

Hm... Kashi wouldn't be opposed to soldiers and would be a little more curious about her honor as far as personality goes. I think that being prideful wouldn't exactly deter him unless it got to the point of a snide noble's pride. Unwilling to swallow it for even a moment depending on the situation might deter him only slightly and would make him a little more wary about the person. He would find her being stubborn quite amusing though and might lightly tease her about it.
