The Game

Hi all,

I'm gonna be honest with you all about this game. But, I am sorry to say, it is not really turning out how I had imagined it really.

I can't really say why. Maybe it is the group dynamics, maybe Mork Borg is a system not really suited for PBP to get the real dark feeling.

Maybe it's because I play a lot of light hearted games on GP mostly and this darkness doesn't match the site (for me at least), or that I should rather play this one live.

It's probably me. But I am considering to shut the game down as it doesn't really work for me.

If anyone wants to take over, please feel free to step up.

I fee you. I've been having a hard time getting into the vibe of the game. It feels like we're playing slow and thoughtful in a game meant for reckless metal violence. Like playing political intrigue with D&D rules. Sure, the game supports it, but there are better systems.

I appreciate you stepping up to run this! It was nice to peer beyond the cover of More Borg. I'm not sure the system is for me, after some discussion with a real-world fried, but I liked what you ran!

I agree with the problem being group dynamics. I signed up for a dark game, because that's what this is supposed to be.

Just as an FYI, there are many very dark games on GP. I'm in a Delta Green game that is pretty dark gory and I was in a really good zombie game that was equally as gory which ran until it ended by design.

Huh, seemed enjoyable to me but I guess when ya gotta go ya gotta go.

I was playing in a Delta Green game as well until our GM disappeared suddenly. Big fan of the system and the concept (huge SCP fan).
