You can always find a place to perform, usually in an inn or tavern but possibly with a circus, at a theater, or even in a noble's court. At such a place, you receive free lodging and food of a modest or comfortable standard (depending on the quality of the establishment), as long as you perform each night. In addition, your performance makes you something of a local figure. When strangers recognize you in a town where you have performed, they typically take a liking to you.

You know the Thaumaturgy cantrip. Once you reach 3rd level, you can cast the Hellish Rebuke spell once as a 2nd-level spell. Once you reach 5th level, you can also cast the Darkness spell once. You must finish a long rest to cast these spells again with this trait. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells.

Xarakas is a tiefling born and raised in slums. Since his young age he worked low wages jobs to help his parents keep food on the table.
The good part was that despite doing the jobs no one wanted, he could see musician plays at the inns and taverns. Stealing a luth from one such musician he started to learn to play on his own, finding some conforts in music he was creating. At some point he even found out that, perhaps due to his corrupted bloodline, he was able to influence people with his music.

Despite that, his nature always made him perform in second grade places. But rather than trying to conform to standards, he went the opposite trying to throw peoples off even more. Therefore he started to dress in more exentric ways, play harmless prank on people and 'discreetly' getting small vengeance on people bullying him.

When he heard rumors that Averndale was almost devoid of entertainers, he took this chance as it could not be much worst than what he was doing.

Xarakas has a blueish hue skin and solid black eyes.
His long black hair are usually half-braided and tied in a loose knot.
He is of average height and build.
He usually dress in excentric colourful ways.
