the Hunters decide unanimously that Johnny's place is the best hiding spot for the Fulcrum, at least temporarily, on account of Johnny being the only Hunter with a 'real' tattoo...
Logan's Mom phones in and hears about the birds' assault at the house. She insists Anna drives everyone home with the car.
Anna complies, driving nervously everyone home, and Eddard back to his shop. No birds follow her car...
Johnny keeps the Fulcrum in its strange cage, wrapped in a cloth, and hides it once at home.
Eddard takes his leave promising he will think about Mount Doom.
So the Hunters part ways for the day, and we close this chapter.
