Description/Personality

Leon can be described as a a well-dressed, pleasant young man. He professes to be a Physiker with a distinguished pedigree, and if anyone asks he will happily produce official documentation that proves his claims. He is a confident sort and why not? He’s got the looks, the smiles and skills to back up anything that he puts down. Did I mentioned well dressed?

Backstory:

As the bastard son of a noble, Leon is no stranger to wealth, privilege or decadence. He is also no stranger to a father’s scorn. When Leon expressed interest in attending the University of Healing Arts, his father could not be more pleased to have him gone and forgotten.

Leon did well, but his sense of entitlement, no doubt a gift from his father, led to him being denied full accreditations. Disenchanted and scornful Leon was at his weakest when he was approached on that dark night that would forever change his life.

A long story short, Leon fell in the wrong crowd that paid well for services rendered and no questions asked. His reputation for discretion and not actually using leeches made him the go to for every misplaced night watchman’s arrow to quietly purging inconvenient indiscretions. Having actually been fully trained by masters of blood and bone, Barchavi quickly established himself as one of the city’s best "Stitch Men". Apparently however being the best, doesn’t really mean squat when the Chief of the Assassins guild dies on your table.

Barchavi finds himself on the run. Setting up shop, in a sleepy backwater, and laying low for a while seems to be a good idea, Averndale will be perfect. No one will recognize him here, and anyone who's anybody will have no reason to question his skills, and quite frankly they will probably welcome a good-looking guy with skills like him!

Personal Code of Ethics:

Barchavi is a trained ambitious medical professional that has issues with his moral compass (Neutral). He believes in the mastery of his art, and the pursuit of that mastery requires a certain level of detachment and flexibility. This does not imply that he would perform harmful experiments on friends or allies, only that he would not feel limited by his methods if they needed his help. In many ways he is simply practical. Barchavis one disappointment is that he was never given his papers. He masquerades as a fully certified Physiker, and he has the documents (forged!) to prove it!

Barchavi’s is generally non-judgmental, at least when it comes to one’s morals or ethics. That impartiality however ends when it directly affects him or his allies.

Short Term Goals: Set up shop in the nice part of town. Insinuate himself as socialite. Make enough money to research and experiment.

Long Term Goals: Claim his family’s estate and lands as his own. Cure Death itself.
