Orlan, Vargos and Gristle (and Krevula) are each in close melee with the two remaining, and they pick their targets sparingly as they attempt to withdraw with their initial target. One grabs the smaller foe (a goblin those in melee quickly see) by the collar, and starts to drag the goblin toward the gate.
The two by the gate draw bows, uncover the strings protected against the rain, and fit an arrow. (They'll fire next round.)
Everybody can act. (Except Vaila, who is down for 3 more rounds.)

"You!" she cries as she lifts a fist full of squirming larvae out of her satchel, "Unhand our guide!"
The power: The mystic can infuse an enemy’s body with larvae that then start to eat their way out. The mystic plants larvae inside the body of its enemy, which then start to eat their way out. The poor target suffers 1D4 damage each turn, ignoring Armor. The effect is automatic the first turn and continues until the mystic fails a [Resolute←Strong] test. Material: a handful of larvae.

The remaining one, the one with the larval infection, turns and runs toward the two by the gate, clutching his sides and gagging.
Leaving melee provokes a Free Attack from everyone that they were in melee with. That's Orlan, Vargos and Gristle (and Krevula).
The two at the gate fire their bows at Orlan and Vargos, the larger targets in the melee.
First shot: Vargos intercepts the shot at Orlan, and takes 4 damage automatically. Roll Armor (1d6) and reduce the 4 damage by the result of the roll.
Second shot: The other shot Vargos can roll Defense +0, or take 4 damage. If he fails to roll his Defense or lower, then roll Armor (1d6) and reduce the 4 damage by the result of the roll.
After that, everyone can act.
That's not enough to use Bodyguard. I think we're stealing the good rolls from all other games.
