"Does the ship need any repairs?"
Sep 3, 2022 10:02 pm
'Hey, AD-Hoc, is this a cousin of yours?' asks Ken, spotting the AD droid. He looks over all the parts, 'Do you need spruce up AD-Hoc? Looks like there's plenty of parts to go round. It's like the droid-equivalent of a Nar Shaddaa wetware clinic,' he shudders, only now thinking of droids having any kind of intelligence or consciousness.

'Droids don't have cousins as you say, perhaps they are more similar to clones.' he looks over the other droids before quickly scanning himself: 'All of my parts and circuits are functioning within exceptable parameters. No' cousin' parts required'

OOC:
I'm not sure whether the ship needs repairs - I think IsoTech took care of it after our last set of exploits.

OOC:
ship is good, I tracj it on my character sheet. 0 hull trauma /0 system strain. Unless you want to upgrade lol

OOC:
Nope, just figured the repair bots could help us if necessary.

After mentally cataloguing the droid room, the team moves on to Security B1. The main part of the room is a 10 droid charging rack. There are 10 B1 battle droids, standing at attention, apparently powered off.
Sep 5, 2022 5:31 pm
'Can we unplug the charging rack? Just in case.'
Sep 6, 2022 8:47 pm
OOC:
it's a valid question, anybody interested?
Sep 6, 2022 9:20 pm
"It seems like overkill, these units aren't activated, require a signal, and orders. The B2's would be a much bigger threat." only realizing after that he didn't answer the question.

"I think we should, the fewer guns at our backs the better off we are. Our employers can always plug them back in later."
Sep 6, 2022 10:17 pm
"I can attempt it, but each units individual battery may be fully charged. Can we not simply lock the door?"
Sep 6, 2022 11:32 pm
"I suppose that would work as well. I don't know a whole lot about droids."

OOC:
@everybody - average mechanics check to disable the charging system. Hard knowledge to guess charge level or easy mechanics to connect to a droid and read the charge .

Nox pulls out his data-pad. "Let's try to check the battery on these guys.

The B1 droids are currently at 20%.
Sep 7, 2022 12:52 am
"Seems like their batteries aren't too charged. Just 20%. Maybe we unplug 'em and then lock the door to be safe."

Nox moves to look at the charging mechanism. It might as well be designed for aliens...other aliens different than him that is.

"Hmmm," Meebo says as he studies the droids. "These guys don't seem to have any built in weapons. If we make sure there aren't any weapons in here for them to grab, locking them up is probably good enough."
OOC:
I'm assuming the droids don't have any obvious built in weapons, based on player knowledge of B1s. Let me know if this is an incorrect assumption.

OOC:
The 10 B1s stand at attention holding their blaster rifles.

'Let's lock up the blasters with the repair droids then seal this door.'
