Hey everyone! I've been itching to be a player in something. Lately I've only been able to make time to run a small Star Wars FFG game over Discord with a friend. He suggested I check out picking PbP back up. I lurked around on Reddit and Google which led me here. I was very impressed with the post dice roller and decided to register and take the plunge; he may join too.

Kind of awkward asking this but I didn't want to make a new thread...

Is it rude to post a thread in Games Tavern to see if someone will run something? I've been wanting to learn DnD 5e, specifically, so I also feel kind of weird volunteering to play a game when I'm new to a system.

Not rude at all. Just put "Looking for GM" in the title along with the system. Or ask to join an already existing group. Many games usually have a spot open.
