"The fog is strange enough as it is. I am not too well known with the construction in the Tiger District. You can always go have a look or talk to the Overseer in charge of the construction

"The statues occur often, always the same female face. But surely, there have been other attacks. It is hard to tell though. I rather not go into the fog if I can help it, it is dangerous. And people coming out of it, remember nothing."

"Thank you, Kim, I'd appreciate that..." Yeou-Ji nods to the rest of the party and the magistrate. "It seems that we could use some help if we split during our search. We will return with my family's messenger."

As they part, Yeou-Ji notices Yong drunkenly wander on his own. "I hope he doesn't let the liquor do too much thinking... and he can find his way back..." he says to himself.

Yeou-Ji then says to Kim, "It's been awhile since you have been in my family's estate... or even the Jeonju Ji village for that matter. Luckily it's also on the border of these two districts too..." He let out a grunt and a sigh, trying to not let the awkward silence get too uncomfortable. "Paek Jung-Ho recently got his own office while we were away. Do you remember him? He's now our village's postman. I guess we'll find out if he likes it or not."

Xerxes rises slightly out of the water and does reach for the goblet, now, taking a small sip before setting it back at the bath's edge. "Do you happen to know the overseer's name? Also, if you know who is funding the construction, that may be useful."

Ji-Eun looks at Yeou-Ji and smiles.

"Of course - Anytime."

Picking up on the awkward energy, Ji-Eun tries to give him time to talk through it.

I believe I'm familiar with your Postman. It's been a while since we've had a chance to talk. How have things been with your family?"

"I am not sure about the name of the overseer, but they would be hard to miss. The entire Tiger District construction is a project of the city. So, it is the city which is funding it. It is a project that has been running for many, many years."

"Perhaps this is not the first time construction has been slowed, then..." Xerxes says. He ascends the stairs of the bath dripping wet as he finishes his wine and sets it down on a nearby pedestal, then runs his fingers through his long silver-black hair.

He emits an exaggerated sigh, rolling his shoulders and taking a fresh towel. "The hot water has invigorated me! It's surprising how such a simple thing can make one feel so much more civilized." He dries his body and hair thoroughly, then tosses the towel onto the floor and grabs another fresh one. "I think I can forego my nap and get straight to work, afterall." He holds the towel out as an offering, smiling at Xestria. "Come sister, I will towel you off."

"Well, for one, they've been happy I've left Yeonido to go learn my 'craft' more..." He pauses, debating if he should bring up the more personal matter.

"However, my mother keeps pushing me to contribute in expanding our clan... you know, uh." He stops, trying to think of another way to say the M word. Not wanting the silence to get more awkward he blurts it: "Marriage."

Yeou-Ji's walking speed begins to pick up pace. They were now halfway to his family's estate. His thick dragonborn legs, however, could only go so fast without making him trip.

Yong continues to wander "aimlessly" although aimless for him invariably ends up in some watering hole or other.

Xestria climbs out of the tub and wanders over to her brother, letting him dry her body.

"A little hot water, a little sake, it goes a long way." She allows Xerxes to dry her then grabs a kimono.

"Magistrate, will you be joining us or shall we talk to the foreman on our own?"

"Perhaps after our adventures someone within your clan will take notice? This might be just the situation you've been waiting for!"

Picking up on the awkward energy and unsure of what to do, Ji-Eun looks into the distance.

They now made it to his family's estate in Jeonju Ji village. As they entered the front gate of his home, what she said kept echoing in his head. What they do notice is someone who take cares of the otherworldly problems of the clan. A thankless job working with the dead. A required but uncomfortable responsibility. Something most women in his clan don't want to be anywhere near.

In the front courtyard is a small shed-like building. "Here we are. Let's see if he's in." Yeou-Ji heads in and sees Paek Jung-Ho neurotically filing away papers, parcels, and envelopes with his assistant. Paek looks up from his work. When he sees the dragonborn, his eyes grow. He says, "Yeou-Ji, sir, it's been so long!"

The dragonborn smiles back. "It really has been... sadly, though, we don't have time to catch up. We just got into a bit of a, uh, mystery since we got into town. We'll need your services."

With that, Yeou-Ji and Kim lead Paek Jung-Ho back to the bath house while explaining the situation.They return to the bath house looking for the two elves and the magistrate, hoping to coordinate with them and his messenger on what needs to be done.

"Yeou, Kim, where’ve you been?" Xestria asked as she walked out of the bathhouse, hair still wet. "You missed all the fun!"

She lugged her heavy hammer onto one shoulder and smiled. "We’re headed to the Tiger District. There’s a construction site where all of this might have started. Probably uncovered some ancient burial ground or some shit. You coming or do you still want to split up?"

As Xestria is talking to the others, they can hear the faint voice of Xerxes and the magistrate speaking to one another. "You really should come to our estate for supper after we've investigated Tiger District, magistrate" says the familiar voice. "I've been looking forward to a proper party. I hope you would invite someone special. I promise we will have all of our most colorful friends there, too."
