Session Zero/Character Creation

So I am considering either playing a Crazy Gunslinger or a Former Coalition Mindmelter that betrayed the Coalition after witnessing (and participating in) the horrific war crimes that occurred there. Coldly logical and powerful in all things psionic, he is an exquisite intelligence officer who has just enough moral leniency to do things that must be done.

Both of those are fun options and either would work.

I am working on the character sheet now, company has left. I should have it finished by tonight. I decided to go with the mind melter rather than the crazy. Add some psionic "oomph" to the team.

EDIT: Should I use the Fate Accelerated or the Fate Core character sheet for this? Or is there another character sheet we're using that I should use?

Use the Fate Core sheet.

Alright, I have Sun Li Tao finished I think? I will happily take advice on the character sheet since I've not made a Fate character except in regards to the Dresden Files RPG. I also still have a "Relationship" aspect open for discussion.

Leaving the relationship aspect open until we play a little is totally fine.

I need to drop out. Private stuff came up and it will take atleast one or two weeks to resolve. So not fair to wait on me.

How should we handle players not posting daily during combat?

Well, first, I'd recommend posting a reminder.

Then, roll for them using reasonable judgement and move on?

That sounds about right. Especially for defense rolls like this where you can make a reasonable assumption of the rolls needed.
