Rolling (presumably you meant CON save not CON check).
Busted yet once more 😅
Sep 9, 2022 8:35 pm
Mor readies her Axe, the explosion blowing away from her breaths like a bull readying to charge.

Mor had abruptly turned around when the Welcomers barged in so the flash from the not-really-a-dragon-egg didn't get to blind* her; surprisingly, one of the bandits got to cover their eyes just in time - not so surprisingly, the others didn't.
OOC:
Mor's up next, then the bandit.
[ +- ] *Blinded

OOC:
Perception: Does Mor see which bandit isn't blinded (not looking away, covering their eyes, etc)
Since that's almost certainly a no, she's just barreling for the closest guy.
Mor gives a growl as adrenaline drips through her veins, muscles responding faster and smoother (rage activated). She rushes the bandit in front of her, taking a heavy top down swing...
OOC:
that might hit...so lets give it a middling description.
...that sinks into the man's leathers. She pulls back, readying for the next swing.
OOC:
She'll be standing at AF9. Direct confrontation
OOC:
Last thing, that damage should have an additional Rage +2

(3) = 3

ooc]How many rounds does the blind effect last? Ed had good initiative but he is blinded. He doesn't want to risk shooting Mor. [/ooc]

Ed, responding quickly to the situation albait feeling blinded, faces the door and readies his crossbow. He knew the direction of the door, and heard both the enemies entering and Mor's footsteps running. So would be at ready: he figures the enemy to his left (Bnd1) would fight him, so if he hears him approaching, he will shoot.

OOC:
Sorry for not being clear enough :/ You're blinded for this round only, as it was a brief flash - nothing too much. Should have also clarified that bandit#1 (ah8) is the one that isn't blinded. You don't need a perception roll for that. AG9 is our Thug - the bandits' leader.

Good approach Cathamber - again, sorry for not getting things clear to you in the first place.
A wide, brutal swing from Mor's greataxe strikes the Thug's left shoulder cutting him deep - only stopping when the blade meets bone, splattering both Mor and him in his blood.

The Thug - still disoriented by the flash bang, lashes out blindly with his mace.
Bandit#1, seeing Mor charging and managing to hurt his leader gets some distance between him and Mor and fires his crossbow.
Bandit#2 hearing suddenly all that commotion scrambles away and fires a bolt from his crossbow towards Jimmy's direction.

Rolls

Thug: Mace - To hit (disadv) - (1d20+4, 1d20+4)

1d20+4 : (13) + 4 = 17

1d20+4 : (10) + 4 = 14

Thug: Mace - damage - (1d6+2)

(2) + 2 = 4

Bandit1: Light Crossbow - To hit - (1d20+3)

(10) + 3 = 13

Bandit1: Light Crossbow - damage - (1d8+1)

(3) + 1 = 4

Bandit2: Light Crossbow - To hit (disadv) - (1d20+3, 1d20+3)

1d20+3 : (7) + 3 = 10

1d20+3 : (14) + 3 = 17

Bandit2: Light Crossbow - damage - (1d8+1)

(4) + 1 = 5

Our turns again?
"Owwwww" Jimow screams in A-pain-major as the bolt digs deep.

"♫ Madame d'Scream get on up, like a killin' machine ♫"
OOC:
Bardic inspiration for Mor
[ +- ] Bardic inspiration
He dodges over to Ed and slaps him on his back, before bravely lying down behind a fence post for cover.

"Dude, you, like, totally got this. I, like, totally believe in you, Ed."
OOC:
3 temp HP to Ed at the start of each of his turns.
[ +- ] 1. Heroism
OOC:
James is on 2HP, but save your healing - he'll be fine.

Prone - Disadv to hit James again with ranged attacks (adv if they're next to him though). +2 to his AC next time.

OOC:
Great start! Although, I'm not sure which attacks from the bandits hit who.... And which ones just failed.
About initiative, do we need to roll it every round, or should we just keep the 1st round order for simplification?
Sep 13, 2022 8:32 pm
OOC:
An initiative list would certainly help me as well.
Sep 13, 2022 8:41 pm
OOC:
Current initiative is:
Mor, Ed, thugs, Jimi
Sep 14, 2022 3:07 am
OOC:
Gotcha, unless I'm mistaken @Antiproduct Mor took the mace, halved to 2 damage?
Sep 14, 2022 5:28 am
OOC:
As we're back to the top of the init, I think it's Mor and Ed to act.
Sep 14, 2022 7:38 am
OOC:
@MelodyMeradin yeap, that's right.
@Cathamber :
Quote:
Bandit#1(ah6), seeing Mor charging and managing to hurt his leader gets some distance between him and Mor and fires his crossbow.
Quote:
Bandit#2 (ad13)hearing suddenly all that commotion scrambles away and fires a bolt from his crossbow towards Jimmy's direction.
Quote:
The Thug - still disoriented by the flash bang, lashes out blindly with his mace. Clarifying: he lashes out in front of him
To speed things up - and clarify them for the matter, initiative goes as this: PCs - at any order, then baddies. So yeah, Mor and Ed to act.
OOC:
will make the baddies post later today.
Sep 14, 2022 8:54 am
OOC:
Thanks for the previous quotes, I meant that Bandit1 shoot but I didn't know if he missed or landed the shot. I guess he missed.
In Ed's turn, he will shoot the Bandit at AH6 (and will continue to shoot him until Mor needs help or that Bandit falls).

Rolls

Light Crossbow - Attack - (1d20+2)

(13) + 2 = 15

Light Crossbow - Damage - (1d6+0)

(2) = 2

Sep 14, 2022 12:20 pm
OOC:
If you edit your post and click these on your character sheet, it'll add the rolls.

The mace swing is largely ignored, a bruise forming slowly at best.
OOC:
Juggernaut vibes
Seeing that he's coming around, Mor messily pulls the axe forward, maneuvering it around for a body shot. Her motion and stance are both a little wild and it scrapes along the front of his leathers. She growls, closing again.

Rolls

Greataxe - Attack - (1d20+4)

(2) + 4 = 6

Don't forget that Mor has bardic inspiration if she wants to use it. Although it'd have to be pretty inspiring to make that a hit.

Even at max, I'd be surprised. I'll hold it. Who knows they might have saving throws to force on me. [/doubt]
